I'm dedicating this blog to the ongoing human rights crisis in Iran. I acknowledge that this blog alone isn't enough, but it's important to help spread information and keep people talking about the situation Iran. Of all the stories I’ve heard from the Islamic republic’s crimes, Salehe Akbari’s is one of the most gut wrenching ones
During the January protests, Salehe and her husband Ahmad shelter injured protesters and tend to them but a fee days later IRGC storms their home and beats up Ahmad. Salehe tries to save him but IRGC shoots her in the heart in front of her child. She died in her husband’s arms
But those IRGC ghouls didn’t stop there they took her body assaulted her and sent photos to her husband. After intense psychological torture, the poor man posts a goodbye letter to his wife and takes his own life. I can’t imagine what their child is going through now…
This is the truth of Islamic republics and this is why us Iranians want this evil regime has gone by any means!

CHILD SOLDIERS: Another Humanitarian Crisis in the Making in Iran
There are reports that that IRGC is trying to recruit children as young as 12 years old into its ranks for suppression and surveillance. Keep in mind that while they're not being overt in the marketing of this opportunity, they're going to arm and militarize these children. They want to get kids involved in their operations and their fight not just to bolster their numbers but also to create human shields. And if these kids somehow end up killed because they're caught up in the crossfire, they'll be passed off as martyrs and victims.
If anyone doesn't believe that this is their MO, I urge you to look into their use of child soldiers during the Iran-Iraq War. They have a history of this behavior.
The safety of children means nothing to them. These children are tools for propaganda, whether it's through making it seem like they have more support and having more tools or through having more sacrificial pawns whose deaths can be used to spread a distorted message.
This is absolute evil.

Today is Nowruz, the Iranian New Year. The celebration this year is especially bittersweet. On the one hand, freedom has never felt closer for Iran, but, on the other, we have lost so many on the way to get to this moment. There are tens of thousands of families who'll have at least one empty spot at the haft-seen this year, and we mourn for them and wish that these precious lives that were lost still could've been with us to see the hope that we're all feeling.
