June 12, 2017 // I’m drowning in love today and I don’t know how to thank all of you for that other than to say thank you. Thank you for staying by my side to encourage me when I'm down, to pursue my god given desires and to rise above when I should know better. Thank you for reminding me of who I am when I loose hope in myself, and for the gentle loving words you speak over me.

Today I count my blessings and thank God for the friends and family I have. Thank you for the love despite our differences at times. Thank you for the prayers that have gone up with me in mind. Thank you for being you!

Free Fallin

Well lets just say God met with me alright and set me straight. The fear, the unsettled heart, the unbelief… What happens when we really lay down our dreams at the foot of the cross?? We all have an idea of what we want our life to evolve into. The dreams we wish to accomplish, and adventutres we want to partake in, but then reality settles in and we push thoose dreams aside for a season. I really wish I knew what God has next for me but I don’t. Maybe that’s the joy of being present. The joy of not knowing what lies ahead but soaking in whatever it is at the moment; the loss, the joy, the excitement, the mystery. You see living in the present is allowing ourselves to acknowledge the feelings of today and releasing thoose at the end of the day. In Isaiah 43:19 it says it perfectly “Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out!” My prayer for this next season is to pray for a clean heart, a joyful spirit, and a present mind. It’s been a long time since I’ve written for all to see and It comes down to priority. Learning to set aside time again for me, remaing present & taking the time to build relationships without fear. This next chapter is and will be another defining milestone for me. I’m determined to live out this next year with peace in my spirit, joy in my smile and love on my lips. Bring it Jesus! -I dedicate this to Lili, thank you for your friendship, you have become a sister and for that I am eternally greatful. Thank you for opening up your home, your life and your family to me. Your an incredible woman of God. I love you girl!
