Social Anxiety

To crave human connection and conversation but have your body reject it, is something I wish for no one to endure. To live such a lonely existence because your instincts tell you it’s dangerous to live otherwise.. there is no word I can conjure to describe it’s pain. At its most basic form, anxiety is the body trying to protect itself from danger: fight or flight response. But what a miserable life it is, to see human connection as dangerous in your most primal form. To be so damaged from your life’s experiences, that you have unknowingly trained yourself into isolation.
