A/n: this might have been the fastest I have written a request, haha! I am kinda obsessed with how cute Jun is when he gets embarrassed lol, it ended up probably making him a little ooc but I think he would be a very shy and straightforward person in love so it would end up with him feeling embarrassed a lot around his crush.

A gentle knock on the door startled Jun awake. You were standing in the doorway, looking apologetic as the blonde scrambled to sit up.
"Did I wake you up?" You asked in a soft voice, careful not to be loud. His wounds were getting better but you never know if he might be sensitive to loud noises, considering how he was just startled.
"No, I was just thinking," Jun flushed, embarrassed that he had actually dozed off for a few minutes while thinking. "I wasn't asleep!"
"Sure," you indulged in his lie and just smiled to yourself. "Can I come in?"
"Of course!" Jun hastened to reply, gesturing to the seat Gang had vacated a day before. No one else had dropped by after he had gone to talk to Mr. Baek and while the quiet was peaceful and good for recovery, it was very uncommon when around the students of Baek Suryong. "If you don't mind me asking… where is everyone?"
"There's been… a situation," you said as you sat down. "You don't need to worry about it. You should focus on your recovery."
Jun paused. It clearly wasn't something minor. You looked a little upset while talking about it and he didn't like seeing you like that. It made him uneasy. But you didn't want to speak about it so he wouldn't pry too much.
"Is everyone taking care of the situation then?" He asked carefully. You just nodded. "Then… how come you didn't go with them?"
"Oh!" Your cheeks tinted a light pink at that, and you looked down at the bowl of medicine you had held in your hands the whole time. "I… I thought someone should stay back to check on you. Not, not that you need it! I was just, worried, I guess, and I trust Mr. Baek to handle the other problem so I thought I could stay back and make sure you're healing properly– sorry! I'm rambling."
You squeezed your eyes shut, and Jun noted how your fingers were practically digging into the bowl. You looked nervous and embarrassed for some reason. He should say something to make you comfortable…
"I appreciate it," he settled on those words after thinking for a few seconds. You opened your eyes and peeked at him curiously. "Thank you for staying behind for me. Is that the same medicine from yesterday?"
"Yeah," you held it out to him. Jun reached out to take it and his hand gently wrapped around the bowl, overlapping on your fingers. The innocent touch made both of you flush and you practically pushed the bowl into his hands. Snapping your hands back to yourself, you just said a quick, "There is some more left for tomorrow as well."
"Right."
Jun stared down at his reflection in the murky colours, swallowing down the lump in his throat. He could still taste the bitterness of it from yesterday.
"I almost forgot!"
Your sudden exclamation made him look up. He watched as you drew something from your pockets and held it out to him. In your hands were a few pieces of… candy?
"I heard from Gang that you were complaining about the bitterness," you explained.
"I wasn't complaining!" Jun felt embarrassed. That Gang was really destroying his image in front of you! You giggled at his defensive retort.
"So I thought you might like some candy after it," you finished with a warm smile. The sight of it was enough to make Jun's heart throb a little faster and louder and he hurried to down the medicine so you wouldn't notice his rapidly reddening cheeks. You always got his insides wrecking so easily. "Woah there, slow down. There's no rush."
Jun dropped the empty bowl on his lap, face scrunched lightly from the bitterness. He took one of the candies you were offering and popped it into his mouth, the sweetness helping to smooth over the aftertaste.
"Good?" You tilted your head in question.
"Mm," Jun gave you a small smile of his own. He watched your eyes crinkle as you returned it with your own sweet smile. "Thank you for the candy. It was exactly what I needed."
"I'll make some more for you next time," you promised, placing the remaining next to his bed. Jun looked at you in surprise.
"You made the candy?" He watched a light flush crawl across the tip of your ears and down your neck.
"I like making candy once in a while," you shrugged. "It was the only one I had on me at the moment… I hope it didn't taste weird!"
"No, it was really good," he smiled at you. Inside, his heart was beating too fast again. He got to eat your own handmade candy?! Lucky! "When you say next time… How long will I have to wait?"
You paused and looked at him with wide eyes. He had said it a little teasingly but you seemed to have taken it seriously. Before Jun could correct it, your lips curled into a smile.
"Maybe until Valentine's?"

The student council room had only one window. Afternoon sunlight spilled into the room from there, just muted enough to not be so bright that it would hurt the eyes. The long table was empty except for two people: Dokgo Jun and you. You had a stack of paperwork in front of you, reports and other documents that you needed to approve and categorise for inventory. At the head of the table, Jun was doing his own work.
A light thud startled you and you looked up to see Jun pressing the heels of his palm into his eyes, elbows on the table.
"You okay, Jun?" You said softly, not wanting to break the tranquil peace of the slow afternoon. Jun looked up at you and gave you a small, pained smile. There was a time when you called him Dokgo-ssi or something equally formal; it took him a few weeks to convince you that he rather preferred you calling him Jun. Now, hearing you say his name gave him a tiny burst of joy each time that he wouldn't admit to anyone. "Something wrong?"
"It's nothing," he reassured you, pressing his fingers into his forehead. "Just a sudden headache."
"Did you eat?" You frowned, keeping your work aside. You only had a few more reports to go through anyway.
"I did," he mumbled, eyes shifting back to his own stack of papers that required the council president's approval. "It might just be all the reading I've had to do these past few days."
It had been a busy week for the council and everyone had been swamped, most of all Jun and Soso. You had been given other work by one of your teachers so you hadn't been able to finish your own council work in time and had come in today while everyone else took the day off to finish it. You hadn't expected Jun to be there too, but he really was a hard worker who insisted on doing his own work himself rather than delegating some of it off. You were pretty sure if there was anyone else in his place, they would have done that long back.
"Hm," you glanced over to his stack, then your own before offering in a moment of bravery, "How about I give you a head massage? It might make you feel better."
"I couldn't impose on you like that," Jun mumbled, eyes flashing downwards. He hoped you wouldn't see the pink of his cheeks; how many people could say their crush cared enough to offer something like that to them?
"You wouldn't be imposing," you assured him, feeling a little embarrassed yourself. You hoped he wouldn't read into it too much, lest he found out how much you actually cared about him. "I've only done it for my family but they say I have magical hands."
You slightly waved your fingers at him with a toothy grin. Jun stared at you for two seconds. He had denied it to be polite but the throbbing in his head really wasn't going away and the offer was far too tempting to deny a second time. Also, you looked adorable grinning like that.
"If you really do not mind…" he trailed off, feeling embarrassed.
You got off your seat and made your way over to Jun. Placing yourself behind his chair, you said quietly, "Keep your papers aside, lean back and close your eyes."
He did as you said, still feeling a bit like he was using you. All his doubts went out the window when he heard you say excitedly, "It's been a while since I've done this, but I'll make you say that I have magic hands too. Your headache will be gone before you even know it!"
Jun smiled and leaned back, eyes fluttering close. You carefully placed your fingers at his forehead and started dragging them with the perfect pressure. You hadn't lied at all– Jun immediately agreed internally that your hands really were magic. It felt really good, like your fingers were taking away the pain under them with every drag.
Jun let out a shaky exhale at a particularly good stroke and you laughed quietly to yourself.
"Enjoying it?" You teased, not pausing in your massage. You could see the way his cheeks coloured up at that and it took all your self-control to not press a kiss on his nose for how adorable he was when he became embarrassed. Jun was, after all, the student council president and you were just a student in the council. You could hardly even say you were friends; outside of classes and council work, you never really met or talked. He probably only sees you as an acquaintance at best.
"Y- You really are q- quite good," he stammered, trying to explain himself and the sound. "I am sorry if I weirded you–"
"Aish, I'm just kidding," you smiled to yourself. "I'm glad it's working. Don't overthink so much, silly."
The two of you settled in a comfortable silence for a while before he murmured, "Thank you. It's almost stopped hurting now. You really…"
He didn't finish his line but it still warmed your heart. You started running your fingers through his hair, untangling the knots gently. That's when you realised that his usual braid was missing; Jun must have loosened it because of the headache, you guessed.
An idea popped into your head. You had always wanted to try braiding it yourself and you had the chance today!
"Stay here," you said, voice so low that Jun probably didn't even hear it. You got out the detangling hairbrush you had with you and bounced back to where Jun was lying still. With deft hands and gentle movements, you brushed his hair. A few minutes later, you kept the brush aside and braided it loosely so that it wouldn't pull on his head in case the headache lingered. "Done!"
You looked down proudly at your handiwork but the lack of response from Jun made you pause. You stepped around to the side of his chair to look at him– he had fallen asleep like that. The sight made you giggle quietly to yourself. He looked so peaceful and relaxed for one. It made your chest squeeze uncomfortably, a warm throbbing inside it.
"You're always working so hard," you whispered softly, not wanting to wake Jun up. "I admire your efforts so much, because I see how much of yourself you put into everything you do. But, you know… I like seeing you like this too."
You reached out to touch him but held back at the last second, eyes flickering all over his softened face. He really was so handsome, like a being carved out by the gods. Your heart thumped loudly in your ears as you leaned down, letting your hair slip past like a curtain. With your heart in your throat, you pressed a light gentle kiss on his forehead before jerking back, face flushed.
Relief and disappointment flooded you when Jun didn't wake up. It was better this way, you told yourself. He had enough on his plate without the awkwardness of being admired and crushed on by one of the students he worked with. With that, you made your way back to your seat and pulled the stack of papers to yourself.
You glanced at his sleeping form one last time and smiled, feeling the warm emotion spreading inside of you.
"Next time," you promised quietly. In the warm afternoon sunlight, Jun's golden hair shone like a halo marking an angel.
"Next time, I'd like to do this when you are awake… and when you'd want it."

"Did you get beat up by Mr. Baek again?" Your familiar voice startled Gang, who had just slumped onto his bed, having just come back from a beating– ahem, training session with Mr. Baek. You were leaning against his doorway, with a tiny amused smile and your medicine kit propped against your hip.
He flushed, embarrassed that you were seeing him all battered and bruised up (again) but you made your way over to his bed, settling down across him. A tiny voice in the back of his head asked why you always came to his room to do this, when the girls' dorm rooms in the Baekryong school were at the other end.
"You knew I would so why come here to rub it in my face?" He huffed, not really meaning it. He would never admit it, but he liked that you came to fuss over him. You just hummed in response as you opened the kit and started applying the medicines on his cuts and bruises.
"I wonder why, too," you said quietly, avoiding his eyes. Whenever you would come to fix up his injuries, Gang would always stare at you unashamedly. It made you flush but you had learned to ignore and pretend that he couldn't notice it, dense as he was. It's not like you needed to fix his wounds either; it was just an excuse to be close to him, to care for him in your own small way. If he didn't realise that, then he certainly wasn't going to figure out your crush on him through a mild flush on your cheeks in the dim yellow lights of the evening. "It's not like I expect you to ever win."
"Hey!" He pouted, more hurt than he would let on at your lack of belief in him. You paused in your actions to look at him carefully.
"Of course I don't expect you to win against Mr. Baek," you clarified, lips drawing up in a small smile again. "If it's anyone else though… I think you're more than good enough to take on any of them."
"That's right, I am!" Gang's cheeks burned. You complimenting him while he could feel your gentle touch over his face was a dream. Sometimes, he really worried that he was hallucinating you coming to his room every evening. Wouldn't that make him some sort of weird pervert?
You just smiled at his response and continued working quietly. Gang stayed still and silent as always, never letting out even the smallest of hiss or a grunt at the burn he was definitely feeling.
"The medicine must hurt, right?" You asked quietly as you worked on the last one. His eyes flicked up to meet yours (where was he looking?) and he shrugged.
"Nothing can hurt me," he muttered, the line making you huff out a short laugh.
"Of course," you teased, "nothing can hurt the big, strong Heonwon Gang!"
"You…!" Gang narrowed his eyes at you as you stifled the laughter while packing up the kit. Only when you were done did you look back at him. The moment your eyes met, you burst out into laughter much to his protests. "I am the strongest! I'll show you!"
"Alright, alright, I admit you are, really," you giggled, failing to hide it under your hand. Despite his words, you could see the tiny smile peeking out of the corners of Gang's mouth. "Come on, let me circulate your qi once, then I'll leave you alone."
Both of you paused at the last part, neither wanting you to leave but he couldn't justify any other reason for you to stay. (And if the Head Supervisor found out about a girl staying over in a guy's room, the both of you could say goodbye to the Blue Dragon academy for life, so maybe it was a good thing.) Gang offered you his hands, both palms up for you to slide yours into.
"Alright, relax," you murmured, letting your qi into him to check his flow. Your instruction to relax was the only thing Gang could never follow; how was he supposed to relax when you were holding both his arms and he could feel your qi running through his system? It felt like a gentle and intimate caress that always left him flustered beyond belief. (And if it did anything down there, then no it didn't, and he would carefully hide it.) "Everything seems okay! That's great."
Your hands lingered for a second or two more before you slipped them back and fiddled with the kit to distract yourself.
"I was joking before but…" you hesitated for a second then looked up to find Gang staring at you intensely. Your heart raced under the attention, the thumps resounding loudly in your ears. "I just wanted to say that it's okay if it hurts. You can complain and hiss and tell me if it burns. Just because you're strong doesn't mean you don't feel pain– and I know you complain to the others, but you always hide it from me, so I thought…"
Gang stayed silent at first, looking away. When he spoke, he almost seemed a little shy.
"You already see me…like this," he mumbled, uncharacteristically timid for once. "I want you to think I'm really cool and strong and dependable, not… not what everyone else makes me out to be. I know everyone says I'm a troublemaker, violent and absolutely nuts, but, I didn't want you to see me that way."
If you saw him like that, you would never love him. Why would you? You were one of the top students, a role model of good behaviour and obedience. Even the Head Supervisor was a little soft on you! The only reason you had ever even looked his way was because you both studied under Baek Suryong.
"I'm sorry for pretending I'm someone I'm not," he flushed and looked down, really embarrassed. His apology startled you– he was being really unlike himself.
"What's wrong with being who you are?" You huffed, crossing your arms over your chest. You leaned forward, feeling bold from what he had just said, to admit, "I like you as you are, dumbass. You might be violent and a troublemaker but you're also cool and strong and dependable. I wouldn't like you any less if you complained or whined or told me something like you're scared of the dark– you would still be the Heonwon Gang who made me laugh when I was in a lot of stress, the same guy who risk his limb from Cheon, the same Gang who has a heart of gold. You're more than what you make yourself out to be. You weren't pretending to be someone you're not because you are all of that and so much more."
Gang blinked, stumped at your unexpected confession. Suddenly, you wondered if you had said a little too much. You were about to lean back, noticing the proximity now but he leaned in, effectively freezing you. His eyes kept slipping downwards to your lips as he carefully asked, "So… if I show you all of me… all of who I am… would you still like me?"
He was slow, giving you enough time to back away if you didn't want it but you did. You had wanted this for so long and it was like your heart was about to burst.
Instead, you just smiled and said, "I would, because I'm dumb enough to do that," before closing the distance.
(Outside the room, in the hallway, Hyeok and Sang-ung high-fived and Yeomin muttered a "fucking finally" to herself. Cheon just laughed silently, knowing your qi senses were sharp enough to notice them all.)

You weren’t really planning on going to the festival this year. Being a student under Mr Baek’s riveting teachings made your motivation to become the star pupil of the academy stronger than ever before. Focusing on strengthening yourself and honing your skills was all that consumed your mind most days.
Yet, here you were, allowing your sister to pin up your clothing covered in floral prints and style your hair in a way that would catch anyone’s eye, pushing a golden decorative hairpiece in the shape of a folding fan into your bun as she readied you for a night out amongst food stalls and chattering crowds.
“What made you decide to go, anyways?” She asked, looking at you through the mirror. You glanced away from her then, a burning heat spreading through the skin of your face.
“I was invited. To go with someone.”
She audibly gasped, then reached towards a drawer on her vanity, pulling it out to reveal various small pots of coloured paints, mostly in variations of rouge. Picking up a thin paintbrush, she moved to stand in front of you and gently cupped your chin, instructing you to keep your lips slightly parted.
She began slathering the striking red paint onto your lips evenly. Looking into the mirror once she was done, you noticed how it made your lips shine, the glossy look plumping your lips into an alluring pout.
“Try not to ruin it, okay?” She had told you as she ushered you out the door, a cheeky grin on her face as she waved you away.

Kang couldn’t stop staring at your lips.
It was the first thing he noticed about you when you had teetered up to the festival. Yes, you looked lovely, the clothes suited you well and your hair complimented your features wonderfully, but your lips…
He gulped, looking away. Damn it, he was the one who had invited you out so lamely, and now he couldn’t look at you because of some shiny lipstick you had on!
“Are you okay, Kang?”
Hearing his first name coming from you sent his heart into a frenzy.
“Y-Yeah! I’m fine! Why wouldn’t I be??” He was so loud, so awkward , he wanted to crawl into a hole and wither away. You were peering up at him closely, a worried look on your face that made your brows scrunch up and lips pout, accentuating the paint.
“Your face is all red. Are you sure you aren’t sick? I don’t mind if we head home early—“
“ No!! ” He yelped. He froze, as did you, surprised at his outburst. Clearing his throat, he stood up tall and repeated: “No, no. It’s fine, really. I’m fine. Let’s just look around the festival, yeah?”
Hesitantly complying, you followed behind him as he showed you the sights, knowing this was your first festival in a while. He took you to his favourite food stands, played some games to win some prizes for you (his proudest moment being when he had hit all the can targets down on the first try and got you a floral bracelet, to which he swore he had never seen you smile so brightly), and so on until he took you to a secluded are to sit down and enjoy some sweets.
“So… Having fun?” He asked after a few moments of silence. You nodded gleefully, eyes bright.
“Yes! It really has been fun!” You took a small bite of your food, carefully closing your lips around the wooden spoon. Though he blushed at the sight, Kang couldn’t help but to ask:
“Why’ve you been taking such small bites like that? Isn't it faster to just take bigger spoonfuls?”
You hummed, nodding again. “I know, it’s just that my sister told me not to ruin this lipstick. I wouldn’t know how to fix it, either, since I don’t have any extra with me, so I’m just trying to be careful.”
“It looks good on you.”
Your heart jumped. You swore it was so loud it could be heard in the silence between the two of you. Kang seemed just as surprised as you, his face aflame and mouth trembling, though after a moment, he straightened his posture and looked you in the eyes, determined.
“I have something to tell you.” He reached into his pocket, opening his palm to reveal a white hair tie, a butterfly ornament entwined onto the band.
“I really like you!” He barked, his lone fist resting on his thigh clenching. “You’re- You’re really pretty, and smart! And amazing with your sword skills and qi! And I like hearing you talk and seeing you smile! It…” he paused, taking a deep, shaky breath.
“It makes me happy to see that you’re happy, and makes me sad to see you sad. And, my heart — Uh, it gets all jumpy whenever you’re around, and.. Ah, shit I’m no good at this!” He grumbled, the flush on his face now spread down to his exposed upper chest. “I just really like you! Please go out with me!”
He had squeezed his eyes shut by then, sweat dripping down his temple as his body fidgeted with anticipation. In all honesty, he was waiting for the rejection. Who in their right mind would want to go out with the delinquent of the school? He was known mostly for his bad reputation and idiocy, bad temper and bullying-nature. A girl like you would not want a guy like him, but… he just needed to hear your answer.
A sudden brush of skin against his open palm startled him, causing him to open his eyes. He watched as you gently picked up the hair tie, inspecting it with a soft look on your face. You ran a thumb over the butterfly, smiled, then turned to him shyly.
“I really like you, too. I’d be honoured to go out with you.”
He felt as if he could breathe again, letting out a long sigh as he rubbed a hand down his face. Chuckling in relief, he couldn’t stop the smile spreading widely across his cheeks.
“I should be the one saying that,” he spoke into his palm. “What do you see in a guy like me, anyways?”
“The same you see in me.” You were quick with your response, carefully placing a hand over his and pulling it away from his face so that you could see him. “And you have such a kind heart, Kang. I want to see more sides of you, if you’ll let me.”
“I will!” He grasped your hand with both of his, determined. “You can see as much as you want!” Realising what he had said, he blushed further, stammering over his words. “I mean— That’s not what I meant to say! I mean, it is, but— not like that! Well, unless you wanted to—“
“May I kiss you, Kang?”
He wasn’t sure this was reality anymore.
He stared at you, mouth agape. Swallowing thickly, he looked away. “I’ve.. never… um…”
“Neither have I.” You were flushed, too, your hands clammy around his own, but neither of you pulled away, relishing in the skin to skin contact for as long as you could.
“And you’re okay? With me?”
“Yes.”
He blinked. He really did want to kiss you…
“O-Okay, then… close your eyes?” You did so, lightly licking your red lips, and he shivered. He cupped your warmed cheek with his hand, seeing just how big he was compared to you, then leaned in close. He could feel your breath stutter against his skin, smell the sweetness of candy from it, and his heart thundered in his chest.
Closing his eyes, he brushed his lips lightly against your own, the both of you jumping at the contact, before he closed the gap, laying his lips wholly into your own.
Your lips were so smooth, so soft. A little slippery thanks to the lipstick, but he didn’t mind. He held his mouth there for a moment before pulling back an inch, only to go back in for another. He held you closer, shakily placing his free hand onto your waist whilst yours grasped into his shoulders, tightly clutching at his clothes.
It was clumsy and inexperienced, neither of you moving too much, nor did either of you want to remove yourselves from one another, but it was all the both of you had dreamed of. So sweet, so innocent, so full of love. He could feel your pulse thundering under his fingertips as could you his under yours.
And when you finally pulled away to peer at each other, panting and in a daze, you noticed how Kwang’s lips were smudged with a red tint, and he ran a thumb over your lower lip.
“I think your sister might get angry later,” he mumbled, and you couldn’t help but to grin.
