I did Rootspring(paw) and Tree in a sort of mock cover style for The Silent Thaw. Both the characters and this book are very dear to me, for personal reasons as well, so it was a pleasure to execute this idea for the zine! Glad to have been a part of this project💖

Found some very cheap cat figurines from a thrift store and obviously my first thought was to paint them into warrior cats!! AVOS-era squilf & leafpool family (minus a few cats,,)

Thought.. Bc I was thinkin of Alderpaw & Jayfeather's mentor-cousin-brother dynamic, wouldn'tve it been interesting if Lionblaze was Sparkpaw's mentor and they shared a somewhat similar bond. (And then Berrynose for Alderpaw's warrior mentor to add in some good ol Lion/Berry rivarly, but Alder's anxiety might not be able to withstand him-)
