Candy’s Burgers and Fries (1996)

A new spin on the orginal Candy’s franchise: this era brought a new younger take on the characters that were presented at Candy’s.

This time the star of the show is a radically cool cat by the name of Candy, and his spunky and…smarter sister, Cindy.

Candy and Cindy are both are both city cats that hangout back by the alley of their town. They were inspired by the avenger era of chuck e cheese

Here is them side by side compared to their predecessors:

(Chester was also supposed to be here but is being redesigned here is his original design that didnt make the cut)

There was supposed to be a voice claim video of these silly guys but i ended up hating candys and blanks voices so im working on redoing that video 🥹😔

Do you have any plans for a fnaf au since you got your fnac one going? Also peak art I love Ms Cat!

Fnaf’s been on the back burner of my mind if I’m being honest, I wanted to actually start with FNAF designs before moving onto fangames but I just couldn’t find an idea I wanted to go forward with. It’s definitely going to be connected with my FNAC au tho, I already have some ideas with TNAR (those nights at rachels) so look out for that :]

Im probably just going to focus on the first 2 games (plus Springtrap) and MAYBE sister location because i love Ballora

Current world building for Fnaf (as aligning with my fnac au) is that its older then the fnac 1 location, but Rat and Cat predate them

I’d like to think Rat Cat and Fredbears had a showbiz CEC type rivalry (with TNAR being the underdog straggler)

I’ve also had people ask me about popgoes on tiktok and I’m unfortunately personally not the biggest fan of it :( , nothing about it particularly I just don’t really have an interest in it so don’t expect any popgoes content in the future (sorry!)

Also thank you lol, Ms cat plays a bigger part in my au then the og Candy’s storyline >:pp

I apologize for absence, college apps have been beginning to drop their decisions and I been getting kicked down the stairs constantly by it (aka I got waitlisted and am probably gonna get waitlisted the rest of the month)

The lineart for Cindy is complete! Currently working on candy’s lineart. (Ignore the glare i am really tired and didnt want to screenshot oops)

Decided to keep the hair I gave Cindy in her original concept but this time around its shorter rather then pigtails (inspired by lucy the lion pictured below)

I decided to make a big shift for my FNAC au and have the rat/old candy era take place in the 80s with the Og Candy’s 1 taking place in the 90s. So you will prob see that Candy and Cindy will be more 90s inspired (heavy inspo from Avengers CEC era and other 90s cartoons)

As much as I like Mitzi, I do kinda wish CEI stood their ground and kept Queenie. Having a fully grown woman would be fun during the dialogue bits. Oh well, at least I can doodle what could of been...

Oh Queenie, my platonic crush. This was gonna be a quick doodle, but then I wondered what she would actually look like with bright orange fur lol. Apparently not very good.

I think if Queenie was still in the RAE, she'd mirror Mitzi in a lot of ways, but still be very much her own character. She'd be a bit of brat and jerk in a way a stereotypical cheerleader couldn't really be. She keeps the 50's aesthetic but goes for a more dragstrip rebel vibe than a preppy soc.

Uh also another idea to get off my chest since I think it's funny or maybe I'm just tired. What if Queenie's last name is actually "Little"? Queenie Little? She'd hate being introduced as that! She's gonna loose her street cred!

She's sort of an anti-Queenie type in every way. Skinny and pointy as a pencil, and much more practical about how she presents herself opposed to Queenie who loves to show off. She's a bit based off the weasels from Roger Rabbit

Candy’s: The Alley Cats

The Alley Cats were an all animatronic band that performed exclusively within the very first “Candy’s:Burgers and Fries”

This band featured Mr Rat, the shows frontrunner and part-time comedian, his laid back and beloved wife Ms. Cat, her passionately outspoken cousin Ol’ Candy and his best friend and friendly neighbor Blank (couldn’t find a name cute enough for blank)

After what feels like weeks (only like 2 days) I’ve finally completed the first giant ass project for Five Nights at Candy’s. I don’t know whether to be proud or not

The main inspos for the Alley Cats were obs, the wolfpack 5, the rockafire and the electric mice orchestra.

The main setting of the show stage would’ve been a local country club in the bay, and they would’ve acted similar to rockafire in terms of banter.

Candy’s Burgers and Fries (1980 - 1992) was a small animatronic arcade chain that started out of Irving, Texas and had 6 stores in the Dallas-Forth Worth metro area. After closure, at least one known show set (most likely from the original Irving store) was sent back to Rowboatics Corp where they were created. No known animatronics are left in existence.

So I've wanted to draw some Candy's stuff for my FNAF AU for a while and @wackytacky101 with their very cool (and very underrated, go check em out!) FNAC AU gave me that little push I needed!

I tried to make them a little different from my other FNAF designs while still keeping them somewhat close to what my Toys look like with the more puppet-like and rounder appearance. I don't have a design for Blank, Penguin, the Cat, or the Rat unfortunately. Maybe later. I imagine the Cat and Rat were just generic animal costumes brought out for birthdays and stuff. Also old Candy and regular Candy are the same, but old Candy was only at the first store and was replaced a year after being installed. He looked mostly the same just with darker fur and more limited movements. So I guess FNAC 1 would take place at that first location since he's still there

I also got a little showtape I threw together that you can listen to and imagine which characters sing which songs and all!
