I had a beautiful home. Although it was small, it was big enough for my beautiful family, including my husband who died in this war of extermination.

It was filled with beautiful mixed feelings of the innocence of my children and our ambition that our home would grow bigger one day.

Now all these dreams, feelings and ambitions have become a pile of ashes, dust and thousands of scattered destroyed stones.

I am even deprived of putting my tent with plastic walls on top of the rubble of my house. Because of displacement and fleeing with my children from the thousands of bombs that fall on us and do not differentiate between old and young, they even took with them a part of my soul, my husband who died from a bomb that fell on him and in which many innocent people died.

Yes, this is my tent now.

In a place far from my house and on land that is not my land or my house. The sounds of the bombs of this war of extermination push me to flee with my children and move my tent from one place to another.

In search of safety and stability and a place where we can find food, drink and reassurance. I rarely find anyone to help me.

Now. My children and I are homeless

I had a beautiful home. Although it was small, it was big enough for my beautiful family, including my husband who died in this war of extermination.

It was filled with beautiful mixed feelings of the innocence of my children and our ambition that our home would grow bigger one day.

Now all these dreams, feelings and ambitions have become a pile of ashes, dust and thousands of scattered destroyed stones.

I am even deprived of putting my tent with plastic walls on top of the rubble of my house. Because of displacement and fleeing with my children from the thousands of bombs that fall on us and do not differentiate between old and young, they even took with them a part of my soul, my husband who died from a bomb that fell on him and in which many innocent people died.

Yes, this is my tent now.

In a place far from my house and on land that is not my land or my house. The sounds of the bombs of this war of extermination push me to flee with my children and move my tent from one place to another.

In search of safety and stability and a place where we can find food, drink and reassurance. I rarely find anyone to help me.

So please be like a ray of hope coming from afar whose light is almost disappearing. Sometimes it becomes stronger.

Help me even a little so that I feel that the future may contain better days.

Wafaa, from Gaza and a mother of three, lives in constant confrontation with pain and difficulties after losing her husband and destroying her home. Despite her harsh circumstances, she remains steadfast, searching for a livelihood for her children and clinging to hope and prayer from God, wishing that He would extend to her help.

Please help me to get milk, bread and food for my children..

My children and I live a difficult life.. After the death of my husband who used to provide us with all our children's needs.. I was left alone in an unsafe environment and a dilapidated tent where we sleep on the ground and the sky is our cover in the middle of a camp where people are crowded together and where our fear and God unite us from the sounds of bombs falling everywhere.. Many poisonous animals and reptiles join us in it..

I spend the day searching for food, clean drinking water, clothes, bread and milk for my little girl who was born in this war. I wait with my daughters in long, crowded lines to get a single meal... or a few liters of clean, drinkable water... I struggle to get food and milk for my little daughter, for whom I cannot find milk... and I am often forced to have her eat with us from the meal we get... My daughters suffer from malnutrition... there is no healthy food, no clean environment, no vegetables or milk...

Our journey of struggle and suffering to get food cannot be described in words... and it is expressed with pain and regret by the tears of my children who cry and scream from hunger and from illness from stomach pains resulting from the unhealthy food we eat while we are forced to... and we live in the midst of piles of garbage...

This war has made me look at this life with great sadness, as I and my daughters watch on TV the varieties of food, vegetables and fruits, and we dream one day that we will return to how we were before, when my late husband used to bring us everything we wanted, in our beautiful home that we lost. It was truly a beautiful life.

Help me regain part of our dignity that was taken from us in this war. Give us back some of the lost hope. And be one of those who make our future perhaps better and more beautiful. And donate even a little. A little on a little is a lot and helps make our future better.
