sorry i cant hang out i forgot how to mimic human like behaviour
Repairing with gold, kintsugi
worst part about getting angry is how much it makes you want to be mean
sorry i said something dickish. a few mildly frustrating things happened to me in succession and it turned me evil
The afterlife probably isn't real, but I would personally love to be called upon as an ancestor in the far future
"Yeah I'm not gonna lie your culture is absolutely incomprehensible to me, and I have no advice about your problems but we can keep hanging out"
New idea: instead of writing the fic, you come over to my house and I tell you the entire plot while I pace my tiny kitchen. There’s a cup of tea, warm in your hands. The words don’t stop and the affection never leaves your expression.
dogs on the window.
peak half assed inclusivity that speaks to reality
good on Lego for making a physically disabled Lego dude
absolutely incredible accidental commentary by making him not fit in any of the buildings
The point of fiction is actually to put that guy in a situation™️, and he might try to tell you the point is to then get him out of the situation, WRONG, second situation
emotional impermanence is so funny bc like. i forgot that i am relevant in people’s lives. my friend since i was 10 asked me if i would be in her bridal party and when i burst into tears and thanked her for thinking of me and wanting me to be there she was like “why would i not want you there??? we’ve known & loved each other longer then we haven’t.” and i was like oh yeah. i forgot ab the part where you love me too

Just realized that the reason I love making friends on tumblr is because it’s exactly how you make friends on the playground as a six year old. No, I don’t know their name but they love mermaids too and built this awesome sand castle. No, I don’t know their age but their imaginary cheetah is friends with mine. You like this show? You like this character?? You can sing the theme song really loud??? Here is a flower crown. Here is a juice box. You can share my time and I might never see you again but part of you stays in my soul forever. In my mind we’re still on the swing set and the sky is blue and nothing will ever be wrong again.
With The Boy and the Heron, Miyazaki really said: I accept that my legacy is out of my control, that my children may not be my successors, that this tremendous monument I've built with a lifetime of toil, this fiery blessing that simply fell out of the sky, may not continue without me, In fact, it may crumble to dust, I accept it because my children and their children are alive and well, in this imperfect world, and thats enough. Yes, I accept that this is the end, but God damn, I'll go out with a bang.
