i bought argan oil some time ago for the achievement. yesterday Nightcrawler turned 13 years old and i finally got the chance to use it

i have some cubs to show off today, both from my main and side accounts. let’s start with my main

Nocturne’s cubs. both males. i’ll try selling the bottom one once he’s five months old, the other will be chased

Leleki (top two) and Wendoka’s (bottom two) cubs. i said in a previous “as of” that i would have to stud them out to avoid inbreeding, but Nightcrawler is the only heritageless nadir king right now, and the way i play lioden i can only stud to heritageless kings. i could have looked for some ardor/hellebore/rhodonite lions instead of nadir, but ultimately i realized i will save beetles if i use my own king. i will simply chase the fails so there will be no inbred cubs in the pride. if i do get a nadir, which i would want to customize and use as my next king, i’d heritage replace it anyway 

now for news from my side. Jengu and Ekiwane are adols now! they’re both looking great. i didn’t mention it before but when i got Jengu i did customize him. his mane is ginger/tufted and skin dark brown, originally these were khaki/thick and white. i also replaced his noctis limb spotting marking with red tail carving. i don’t mind if that lowered his value, i like him better now :) 

i’ll admit right now i like getting tree cubs because they’re always a surprise. a few days ago i got another male, which i named Birunga. he’s actually not that bad

i am going to do that. he’s clean and i like rescuing cubs

after a week of having the destroyers open on my side i finally unlocked the preservers on my main! the encounters that give carcasses were setting me back because i kept going for the evil option :P

anyways, since the studs also unlocked today i think i will wait to buy the decors i want, just in case i need to spend my carrion beetles on them. i have enough dry bones for 6 requests currently. the problem, however, is that i only have three lionesses to breed and none of them are off cooldown

i recently purchased the cub stages so i’m delighted to share today’s pictures. they might all be fails, but they sure look cute :)

just because Nightcrawler was born doesn’t mean my project has ended. currently there are 294 nadir pridemembers and 13 kings. it deserves to be spread around so i will continue to breed for it. i have four new ebony lionesses to introduce, as well as some to pay respects to

because of their old age i retired Jimaine, Kätzchen, Mystique, Rogue, and TJ. Bamf and Boggie still have two heats left so i have kept them alive. also, i ultimately named Kokomo’s daughter Nocturne, the superhero alias of Nightcrawler’s alternate reality daughter

the new lionesses i have do not follow the comic book character naming pattern. from now on they will go back to having names similar to those found on my side account. they are:

Edoli, a chased ncl (3 years, 9 months)

Saraji, another chased ncl (3 years, 4 months)

Leleki, a daughter of Bamf’s (1 year, 8 months)

and Wendoka, a daughter of Boggie’s (1 year, 9 months)

these four will make up the “second wave”. Leleki and Wendoka are both Nightcrawler’s cubs, so to avoid inbreeding i will have to stud out

on my side account nothing much has happened. i deleted some pridemembers from my dynasty because i was not attached to them. recently however i claimed a chased ncl who i think is very pretty. i named her Gzobi

she and Mwunguzi had a daughter, Ekiwane

i also tempted a cub at the giving tree. it was a male and second gen. i decided to keep him. his name is Jengu

i think that sums up everything. event wise i will be unlocking the preservers on my main and the destroyers on my side. i want to get one copy of each expression and mane decor. i look forward to the ukame studs too :)

hello all. i took an unannounced break from lioden because i had too much happening in my real life to play games. however in the past month circumstances have changed and i now have ample time to log on, explore, etc. so you can expect to see posts from this blog again. i will make an “as of” post today detailing some of the events that have transpired since my return, as i’m eager to show off my new lionesses ;)

also, this blog will be changing urls. i would like to go by something that will match my updated username on lioden. i’m not sure what yet but from now on my posts will no longer be tagged mosquitoden. more information to come

when the interstellar quest was released i had just queened Nightcrawler. i knew i wouldn’t be able to level her up nor raise her impression enough before the end of the month so i resigned myself to waiting for next year

then i remembered i have a side account. Mwunguzi didn’t have the requirements either, but he was close enough to them i could prepare him in time. attacking players for exp, completing the july storyline, and finishing snake quests finally got me to level 7, but it was the last day and i still didn’t have him at dreamboat. 16 gb dove feasts later he was ready

so, on the 31st of july, at 9:22 pm lioden time, i am proud to say Mwunguzi finally qualified to journey to vredefort crater

i won’t say anything yet because i haven’t progressed passed clicking the start button but i will be posting about the quest as i work on it. if you would like to avoid spoilers i will be tagging all posts about it with “interstellar quest”

my last post before taking a break was a screenshot of a nadir cub. i was very excited to recap my project, so much that i didn’t know how to get into the details, so i left it for later. now is as good a time as any to return to the subject

this is the cub grown up, sex changed, customized, and decorated. the original design was unappealing to me as it covered up the base, which is what i want to show off. she may have less markings now than she was born with but i am much happier with the result. i have also decided to pretend she is a queen, though her name will still be Nightcrawler

Boggie is the lioness that gave birth to her. the father was of course Kokomo

speaking of, before he retired Kokomo sired one last ebony. because i’ve finished my project i will no longer be naming lionesses after comic characters, so i’m not sure what to go with this time. if any of you have suggestions i’m eager to hear them

before we get to what i’ve been waiting to share i want to pay some respect to Kokomo

i was thrilled to use him in my breeding project but when i realized i would have to replace him in order to achieve my goal i was actually saddened. i know that sounds silly since i always knew it would happen but i didn’t except to be successful so soon. as the time drew near i stopped rolling over daily, until i got the retirement notification and came to my senses. Kokomo was ready to join my dynasty, and i had to accept that. he is now among fellow kings, but has left 31 cubs throughout the site, several of which have breed only bases. including one very special daughter...

hello all. it has been quite a while since i made a post. the past month and a half was a busy time for me outside of lioden, and there was also not much happening in game that i wanted to share. but, that has changed, so we should be back to normal updates, if that has even been a thing on this blog x)
