at the people asking why we stan josh because heās also up paulās ass, hereās some facts:
unlike paulās actual minions, josh has never said heād love to be second place next to paul (like alex) or that he would want to throw his game away for paul to win (like matt) or that his goal is to reach jury only (aka the rest of the minions).
heās one of the few people that have stressed wanting to win from pre-season until now (donāt forget he has 20 pigeons to feeds!!!!). in fact, he stressed to ika that he wouldnāt even let his showmance (if he ever got one) stop his chance from winning.
josh is ultimately an outsider. he was one of the few that didnāt have a solid alliance when the house was split between codyās clique and the outsiders. the only person that provided him comfort was christmas, while cody literally got in joshās face and called him a crybaby when he was worried about his sick grandfather during the first week. when codyās clique split betwen jody vs. the rest, josh would obviously stick by christmas over jody who went out of their way to taunt him.
while paulās actual minions throw hohs and vetoes his way, josh actually tries to win them by himself. during the candy crush hoh, josh was one of the few people actually trying to win instead of giving his tickets to paul.
again, when jody ultimately targeted josh, paul was the one that flipped the votes for him. josh actually has a reason to stick by paul for now unlike his other minions that only stick with paul because they do not know how to play the game on their own (elena literally said they wouldnāt know what do in this game if paul didnāt tell them what to do and matt and raven literally threw the hoh to him).
thereās no reason why josh would go after paul now when jessica, cody, and mark would love to take him out and paul wants to take jessica, cody, and mark out.
josh listened to dominique talk about paul and agreed with everything she said. josh was the only one that respected dominique during that final week and hence he will respect her word. i firmly believe he has paul in the back of his mind and when the time comes, heāll target him if he has the chance. right now though, he still is on the outs and the only person that shares his targets is paul. of course heās going to stick by paul but the thing is josh is playing his own game and that is more than i can say about mark, elena, matt, raven, alex, and whoever else.
tldr; josh is one of the few playing his own game. it only makes sense that he aligns with paul momentarily, but he is aware of paulās influence/power since he has had conversations with dom about it and he has shown that he is playing the game for himself.
