She chuckled very lightly, looking around the room with big eyes. “You could always use more money, that’s what everyone wants.” She shrugged as well her big doe eyes falling on him now. “You would do that? I mean, I like to think I am good and I suppose that is saying something about a person who was raised to hate their self and anything to do with it.” She made a joke out of that as well, shaking her head very slightly before her eyes fell to the floor once more. “And that smiling thing suits you too, but I won’t push my luck asking you to smile a little more.” Boosting herself off of the counter with her hands she began to make her way back upstairs before looking over to him. “Just let me know when you want to see some of my work and I will show you some.”
"Money's not everything," he replied with a small shrug, looking up towards her for a moment. "But yeah, I would. Just need to see some of your stuff before I can recommend it to others so I know what I'm attempting to peddle." He hadn't noticed that he'd been smiling as much as he had within the past half an hour or so until she'd brought it to his attention and it was like he almost immediately put his guard back up, his smile falling and returning to a stoic expression as he watched her walk off towards the stairs. "Whenever you want to go out. Go get some rest. We'll figure it all out in the morning." In all honesty, he needed to get back to work--figure out where his previous target had run off to and if they were back in London or not--so he wanted her to get some sleep so he could do what he needed to. He didn't sleep much anymore and he was sure she'd find that out soon enough.
