Mountain Love, by Jo Tsai
Tuesday May 12, 2015, was the night the love of my life, Marc, asked me to marry him. For me, this day was so completely ordinary. I just finished a full day at work, and after had planned to watch Pitch Perfect 2 with Marc at the cinemas. While seated and watching a couple trailers on the big screen, my boyfriend told me that he was just going to buy some food at the Snack Bar. Little did I know he was really going to get ready to ask one of the biggest question of his life. Being a talented videographer, he created this video in the lead up to the question. Watch this video to see how he popped the big question, and how I answered.

This is the start of a series of posts on my time travelling France. Since basically no one, not even my mum or boyfriend, have seen any photos from my trip, thought I'd better start showing them. In my 8 month trip, I spent a total of 6 and a half weeks in french speaking communities. 4 of those weeks were spent travelling France. It was a challenging experience. The majority of my time was spent travelling alone and really tested my french-speaking skills. I learnt more in those few weeks than the whole of my time learning french in Australia. I met the greatest people whilst Couchsurfing and ate the best food. Never thought I'd be one of those France-Lovers but... I guess I am 🇫🇷💛 Arriving to France, (and europe for the first time ever) I flew from Tahiti via Los Angeles. In this picture, I am flying over LA! Pretty great seeing those epic highway interchanges. I'll be back USA. I will walk out of that airport one day. I flew with Air Tahiti Nui. Being an airline from a tropical island, the logo was of course the national Tiare flower. What I remember about this flight was that the night before (and morning of) I was throwing up like crazy (best timing before a 20hour flight! 😱) See more of my trip on Instagram
I literally had my breath taken away when flying into Oslo. Never had I seen so many pine trees. I flew over forests and forests of them. Such a beautiful site, I surely miss it already.
