kaya ang daming behavior na hindi dapat na-no-normalize dahil sa mga enabler. pare-pareho kayo ng mindset. kaya umaabot sa, “hayaan na lang kasi ganyan na talaga yan” when it should’ve always been, “hindi dapat hinahayaan kasi hindi dapat ganyan.”
kaya pag may victims, “ano bang suot niya?” “bat kasi nag-post siya ng ganyang picture?” “bat pa kasi siya nagpa-picture?” instead of asking, “bat may mga taong gumagawa non?” the focus is always on the victim instead of the person who actually crossed the line.
when will people realize that we don't dress up or make ourselves look sexy for u to sexualize or disrespect us? the way we dress, the photos we post or the confidence we have in ourselves is not an invitation for harassment, objectification or exploitation. it is never consent!!
& y is the blame still always placed on women instead of holding the people who committed the wrongdoing accountable? bakit laging advice “mag-ingat ka” “wag kang mag-post” instead of teaching people not to harass, not to steal someone’s photos & not to sexualize people without their consent.
and fyi, u will never make me understand ur point. bcs there is nothing to understand when the argument itself is rooted in blaming the victim instead of addressing the person who did the harm. we can have different opinions, but i will never agree with a mindset that excuses disrespect, harassment or the sexualization of someone who never gave consent!
