probably the best advice I've ever got was from my grandpa when I moved from my town and started a university, he told me to leave the house everytime when I start to feel down, just to go to the park, a supermarket, a bookstore, to even drive in a bus or tram, just be around other people because staying at home all the time kills you; and you know he was right

WIP Whenever

Got tagged by @theameba1436 for a WIP Whenever. Here's another snip from my second Gortoween fic. Final version will be TTS friendly with all the font nonsense built into a removeable workskin.

Trying again to have some variety in my tagging, so @picathartidae @adorablebanite @rinwellisathing @kaava and anyone else interested.

"Cowԍ μԍʁԍ," Keres beckoned as he took the motivator back in hand and knelt next to the cold corpse. His words were spoken in a language that sounded like a bonfire and wasps, and tasted like copper in his mouth and it was clear by the twist in his expression that they were entirely lost to Gortash. "I speak seven languages and howling like a shoosuva isn't one of them," Gortash spat, his eyes filled with spite as he lay twitching on the cold floor. Even now the fight hadn't left him. Keres smiled twisted further, revealed too many jagged teeth. His accompanying laugh sounded wet, almost closer to gagging. Who was he to deny the language of his blood?  But if words failed he could only gesture to the red puddle next to him and hope the threat of further pain would cause Gortash to concede. There was little point attempting to command or coerce a Deep Mystery of Bane through magic.

Thank you so much for tagging me! I've either been sucked into Bluesky (recommended), or working on my Gortoween fic, so I've barely spent any time here, but I do hope you enjoy this little snippet from the WIP for Gortoween next week!

The premise is a somewhat schlocky horror where a few bhaalspawns (real OC's selected from the community) have found themselves aggregated back in our dear Archduke's realm (similar to the Kissing Booth Fic), and hells-bent on killing Gortash, due to an eerie celestial event! I swear it's a Gortash fic, despite we have Rugan and Lilla below, but every horror needs some goofballs making and bantering! I just don't know what I should/shouldn't share re: spoilers xD

Once Lilla and Rugan successfully latched the outer doors and windows, they immediately returned to their steamy embrace.  “You feelin’ any dark urges arising, lass?” Rugan quipped with a wry smile, gripping her hips.  She grinned back, chewing her bottom lip, “Maybe some more wine could entice my ‘urge’ to arise…” Rugan's smile faded somewhat, “Well, you’re a cleric…” He fidgeted, giving her a knowing nod, “so I was hoping you could, you know…summon a picnic basket?” Lilla pinned him with a deadpan stare, “The summon is called the 'Heroes' Feast,’ and right now, I only see a Zhent who’s about to smuggle some wine from the pantry…”  Rugan raised his hands in submission, “Alright, alright, as you wish, lass…”

The next Tumblr addition should be the ability to set traps for mutuals. Like you mark a post as being a trap for so-and-so, and when they reblog they get a little pop up of a box propped up with a stick falling and the words "Haha! @phaeton-flier knew you would reblog that!"
