I made an acorn hat out of cardboard a stick and a cracker box! It was a lot of fun to make and I've already started on a second one for a friend and it's looking even better than this one! I don't really have anywhere to wear this, but it's definitely fun to have!

This time with lore!

So these little fellas are part of a miniserie of my creation called 'Mean Little Fairies", where fairies are the mischievous protagonists. These mushroom fairies are long lost cousins of the more humanoids one and live deep in the magical forests where humans and animals alike do not dare to venture. So, to survive, they evolved by becoming part mushroom themselves for compensating the lack of resources they could feed on (mammals, including humans). Unfortunately, exactly due to their appearance, they are frequently mistaken by more humanoid fairies and magical creatures that inhabit these environments as normal mushrooms, so they get eaten and there are cases of accidental cannibalism between fairies. Some of these mushroom looking creatures developed multiple eyes to look out from predators, some of them have their vitals protected by unexpected hard shells and so on.
