Theres liiike 3 AUs here. But my favorite is the one where they're all borrowers. Story wise it's not terribly different from the og- but it's less about the rebellion and more about community building.

Basically Borrowers live in groups buttt Jury lost her group and was mostly hanging out with her boss and stealing from other groups and lone borrowers. It's not typical behavior they're just freaks. Some stuff happened, as it does, and Jury ends up on her own.

She meets 2220, a lone borrower, and is like pls pls pls can we hang out I promise I'm niceys and they're like ew no go away. She does not go away. Union and King exist in this AU but what their role is im not sure yet...

One of the most intriguing unexplained phenomenon in this world is amplimorphism, a condition affecting ~3% of the population. Based on abundant anthropological evidence, it is well—established that amplimorphism was far more common among ancient humans, effecting roughly 30% of the population. Societies that began agricultural development saw a steep drop of the presence of size-shifters, though whether this was due to size-shifting being less suited for an agricultural lifestyle or due to shifters being driven out and/or killed is an unknown.

Today, the 3% that remain often hide their condition from people at large, with a few notable exceptions. This leads to some staying at “human size” full-time which can cause symptoms like fevers, lack of appetite, headaches, migraines, insomnia, depression, tumors, and in extreme cases death. To prevent this, the body will reflexively force an unwilling shift if remaining one size for a dangerous amount of time. As always, it is recommended that those with amplimorphism shift in safe, properly designated areas.

This is my borrower costume design for one of my classes! I'm still working on the sets because they're not quite looking the way I want them to, but I'll post them as soon as I'm done!

The costume is based a little bit on knights because she's very adventurous. I also gave her acorn knee pads because I think they're fun.✨
