*walks up to mic* Tony Stark should have never brought 15 year old Peter Parker into a battle field, Peter was a child and was in no place to be able to consent to help Tony in this, he couldn’t even go on a field trip without guardian consent. And Tony should be accurately judged and held accountable for this. *walks away from mic*

Let's take a second look at this.

Firstly, I don't think 'battlefield' is fair. Tony's plan was to try and convince Steve to come quietly, and to get more backup to make that more feasible. Peter's instructions were to stay on the side-lines and throw webs, not get involved in the battle.

Secondly, no one in that fight was in it to kill or even seriously hurt - they were friends.

Thirdly, this isn't our universe with our rules, it's MCU-world, where a 15-year-old can get superpowers and go fight with the Avengers, and we're not as worried about field trip rules as we would be in real life.

Last - I would say all of this is backed up by Tony actively trying to keep Peter out of danger when it's a 'real fight'. He tries to send him home when they go after Thanos, he doesn't even let him go after the Vulture alone.

Summary: Tony brought a capable, if inexperienced, young hero to what he thought would be a quick arrest of people who he trusted enough to know they didn't want to hurt anyone, told him to stay on the side-lines, built him a defensive suit, immediately benched him where there was danger (both at the airport and in later fights).

Can of worms about judging genre media using the rules and standards of real life.

Peter Parker was a child, whether or not you want to acknowledge that, he was. At 15 you are a minor and therefore a child. Also this is not even bringing up how Tony lit coerced him into joining in civil war.

Also, you’re saying real life as if this is not just based off the real modern life world just with superheros like this isn’t a fantasy world this isn’t the 1600s, minors are still minors!

There is something so freeing admitting you’re ugly, like I have a lopsided head and one of my eyes is like higher than the other because my brow bones are fucked up. that’s not my fault, but I can’t change that it’s literally my bone structure, so my face just looks kind of fucking weird and I can say that my face kind of looks weird, especially at certain angles without it being a trauma dump. Like just because I admit something about myself that’s like true (even if it’s negative) doesn’t mean I’m talking bad about myself. It means I’m realistic, and I’m not choosing to live in delusion.
