OOC: So, obviously I haven't been active much on this blog lately. Like, at all. And I'm sorry for that, first of all. Sorry for all you wonderful people who follow me, and sorry for myself, too, because I'm not able to enjoy it.
The point being, I wanted to let everyone know that this lack of posting is probably going to continue, at least for the immediate future. Number of reasons, mostly to do with real life stuff. One may be that I'm feeling sort of Doctored-out at the moment, like I've extended myself too far and worn out the character a bit, so I need some time to pull back, regroup, and focus on other things. It's like a piece of gum, you know? You chew it until there's no flavour left, but sometimes if you just let it sit for awhile, untouched, some of the flavour comes back.
...that may have been an unnecessary analogy. Sorry. Accurate, though.
I'm by no means abandoning this blog. I love it too much, and the people I've met through it, to just say do a Master - say "Buh-bye!" and disappear. I may appear sporadically, and I'll certainly be checking my asks and what other folks are up to. But I just can't commit to much at this point; I'm not feeling enthused, and it's hard to be the Doctor without enthusiasm.
I'm hoping you lot will understand, and not sulk too much, eh? But seriously, the fact that so many of you are still following me, despite my not really being here - that speaks deeply to me, and I'm truly grateful. Really. It means a great deal.
If anyone wants to get in touch in the meantime, I check my main blog here several dozen times a day.

Ah.... well, sorry for disappearing for awhile. Long and short of it is that I've been feeling quite antisocial and not in a great place for the last couple weeks. Between that and watching Merlin, I've not really been in the mood for Doctor-ing much. But I'm hoping things are looking up now.

The Untempered Schism... that was more towards our souls, I think. Or that's how I see it. That experience goes so much deeper than just the mind. It's.... hard to explain properly.
But we went through years and years of training at the Academy, and that was definitely directed at our minds. Or most of it, anyway.
The rest of it... it's all live and learn experience, really.
