I had the pleasure of spending the last week in Miami working with the YoungArts 2014 Cinematic Arts finalists. They are 7 of 170 highschool students chosen from 11,000 applicants based on excellence in the arts. They spend a week learning from master teachers through lectures, location trips, and a group project. It was a blast coming back after being accepted into the program in 2012.

I decided to make an example video for zoltan555's design for a DIY track dolly. He made a fantastic tutorial video that I recommend if you are into DIY camera equipment.

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of working with Hanna Denham (pictured above), a contortionist from San Diego, on a music video for Seattle band 'Dead End Friend.' I'm new to the music scene, but if working for other bands is anything like I experienced during this project, you can bet the scene will see more of me if I can help it. Their album is set to release early 2014, which will be accompanied by this video and much of my enthusiasm.
