hey are multimuses like the hip thing now instead of a bazillion individual blogs

considering moving all my muses (canon and ocs) onto the one tbh but like......im afraid of too many fandoms/fandomless muses clashing??

She felt his voice resonate through the stone below her, but she didn’t react, half expecting it from a being that size. She gave a small shrug to his questions, her hand shifting from the hilt to her hip as she spoke.

‘It’s a hidden gem then..if this were back home there would be a few dozen stalls here, trying to exploit you for the scenery-’ She had to chuckle, it was a cruel way of putting it, she could swear there were ‘temples’ at every possible vista….she wasn’t complaining, people had to make their way somehow. 

‘I’ll admit, I did veer off the main track to come here…thought it could be a shortcut of sorts.’ She paused, looking over the valley. ‘I do need to head further north if I have any chance of finding what I’ve been tasked to seek…but there’s no harm in taking a break, no?’

He crouched down as softly as he could to hear her a little better, his face softening at the sight of her hand lift away from the hilt of her sword. Auro could picture it well; the multicoloured stalls filling the streets with the smell of freshly cooking food...he missed it.

 Looking down for a brief moment to collect himself amongst those memories long gone, he looked back at the stranger, something she said catching his attention. She wasn’t here for no reason after all. Further north?

“North? For what? Nothing there but snow and.....more snow. What’s up there that’s so important to find?”

[ panic ] for your muse to grab mine’s arm or get behind them in a moment of danger

Feeling little arms wrap around his tree trunk of a shin, Auro freezes in place and looks down at a very jittery Boe, clearly seeing something that Auro hasn’t caught a glimpse of yet. His face softens, feeling a tiny sense of duty, as he lowers his voice and takes in a breath to speak.

“Hey. Don’t look so spooked, bud. I can handle it.”

“I-I-I’m good, th-th-thank you.” Boe clumsily got to their feet within Auro’s pocket. They were so thankful to Auro for hiding them. They waited for Auro to reach into his pocket for them.

“Good.....that’s...that’s good.”

Auro stuck his fingers inside the pocket, allowing Boe to climb out safely. However, before Boe’s feet could even touch the ground, Auro froze, noticing something pungent in the air. Sniffing as quietly as he could to not draw attention to it, Auro followed his nose as it lead him down to the source of the offending odour; the little figure in his hand.

“Boe...” Auro began, his voice dropping even lower in pitch.

Calloused fingers each equivalent to the strength of a man closed in around Boe, securing them in Auro’s palm as he continued to speak. He didn’t want them to fall, but they were not going anywhere until Auro had answers.

“...when was the last time you bathed?”

auro looks so simple yet is sometimes so finicky to draw its a little difficult to nail his features sometimes

but god when he hits he hits

“It really has been a while, I’ve missed seeing you! And yeah, new scars, new armor, new powers, a lot has changed.” She replied with a deep sigh and stretched as she stood on the tree branch carefully.

“New powers, huh?” He replied, raising his eyebrows, “Welp, ‘S long as I’m not your guinea pig we’re good.”

A joke.

“As you can probably tell, I haven’t changed much. Parting my hair a little differently nowadays but apart from that, I’m still that same old overgrown shithead you knew before.”

Auro rolled his shoulders and sighed, relaxing tense muscles,

“So where are you heading? People only find me if they’re like...off the beaten path or going somewhere specific. Or did you just find me by chance? Can’t imagine I’d be difficult to track.”
