DEXTER.

“Is that why everyone’s blowing up my Twitter feed with Doc Brown and Marty McFly? I’ve never been super into that movie though, but I guess that’s cool. — What’s your thesis about? Tell me everything.” Dex smiled down at the petite blonde, running his hands through her blonde waves as she laid her head on his lap. “Halloween’s still like a week away- if we don’t have costumes now, all the good ones are gone. We waited too long, we got too caught up in boring senior things.” His voice was lilted with disappointment and honestly, Dex kind of was. He hadn’t really had much free time or any time to himself and the fact that one of his favorite holidays might go without celebrating because o school was kind of a downer.

“Basically.” Arizona nodded with a shrug before a sigh of content passed her lips, feeling his fingers carding through her hair. “We could make our own or something. Like, uh, Tink and Peter Pan. I could get a really cute green dress and you can just get a green outfit and we’ll find the hat for you.” She explained, concluding her words with a boop to his nose with her index finger. “It’s just research on genetics and the chemicals in schizophrenia. The biochemistry side of it, I guess. Okay, listen. The couple who graduates together, stays together. -- Right?” Tilting her head, she looked up at him with a bite of her lower lip. The girl tried to make Dex feel reassured and with them finishing up their year had put somewhat of a damper on their relationship for a short while, just because they were both too wrapped up in school. But she was determined to find time for him, and if she couldn’t, she’d make some on her own. “Plus, we can take this weekend to marathon some movies. If you want, I mean. I have the whole 13 Nights of Halloween lineup recorded.”

ROXANNE.

Pulling out a folder of the case of the newest client Oliver had taken on, he shuffled through it, his eyes scanning over each line for the shortest of moments before tossing it back under his desk. Within a minute of that, the actual said client made her way into the office, and Ollie stood up to greet her. "Hey, hi, you must be Roxanne. First things first, I accept payment in Hot Pockets. The pizza kind, naturally, anything else is just blasphemy. Or if you somehow happen to have cash or credit, I guess it's fine. Actually, my credit card machine's broken. And by broken I mean, I'm broke and don't have one." With a shrug, he crossed his arms. "So, homicide in the fashion industry. Conspiracies. Very Zoolander, love it."

DEXTER.

"It's Back to the Future day, my senior thesis got approved, we're almost done with midterms and we'll get Arizona and Dex time again.. all is right in the world for once. Nice." The blonde beamed at the other as she settled on the couch next to him, resting her head on his lap as she looked up to face him. "Okay, first order of business. Halloween costumes. C'mon, throw some suggestions at me, let's do this." Maybe it was the lack of time they've been spending together recently, but the girl admittedly needed Dex so much closer now; so she took his hand in hers, lacing her fingers through his before finally laying their hands on her stomach.

kennedy.

kennedy wasn’t exactly thrilled to be coming over to arizona’s when liam was there but she didn’t really have much choice. pulling up to her best friend’s house, she reluctantly walked up to the front door, knocking on it a few times before taking a step back. as soon as her best friend opened the door, she was brought into an embrace which she eagerly returned before being dragged away and towards the living room. as soon as the brunette caught sight of liam, her smile faltered and she gave him a small nod, “hey.”

as arizona plopped herself down on the couch, she noticed kennedy’s expression change as the brunette greeted liam. the blonde thought nothing of it, however, and made a mental note of asking her about it later. “alright, so there’s this new fall festival that’s supposed to be really fun.” she began, leaning on liam’s shoulder as she pulled kennedy’s hand down to sit next to her. “liam can’t go ‘cause he’s too busy for his girlfriend,” she teased before continuing. “so if you’re up for it, we can go, just the two of us. and i really wanna go, you’re my only hope.” her lower lip jutted out a bit into a pout.
