2. Hello, and thank you so much for the work you put into this blog. I’m trying to find a fic. It’s a one-shot canon AU where Lan Zhan does not survive the discipline whip, but he’s still able to rescue A-Yuan before he dies. The fic begins with recently reincarnated Wei Ying, who has just discovered that Lan Zhan is dead and how, travelling to the Cloud Recesses to get his revenge on the Lan Clan. Zewu-jun is waiting for him, and tells him he understands why he has come, but reveals Lan Sizhui’s identity and so persuades WY not to destroy the Cloud Recesses after all. But as he departs, Wei Ying turns all the water in the Cloud Recesses to blood, so that they never forget what they did. I remember the fic clearly but not the author’s name, and I can’t find it. I think the author had written quite a lot of canon ‘what if’-style AUs, but I’m not sure about that. Thank you so much for your help <3

3. Looking for a Wangxian fic. Wei Wuxian is a nine-tailed immortal fox raised by Cangse Sanren and Baoshan Sanren. Lan Wangji is a human cultivator. The major conflict is the lifespan difference between them. Wei Wuxian eventually sacrifices one or more of his tails to extend/save Lan Wangji’s life, possibly through a ritual performed by Baoshan Sanren. Cangse and Baoshan oppose the decision. Happy ending. Probably a long oneshot or short multichapter fic. English or Russian.

4. Hello, im looking for a fanfic. Its a one-shot fanfic, in this fic wei wuxian didn't know that he was pregnant and gave birth at koi tower. Jin guangyao wanted to pin the pregnancy on Wen chao, to kill wei wuxian and the baby. Everything was going to plan until a servant came in and announced that the baby has golden eyes. Then lan wanji left in a hurry.

7. Hii can you help me find a fic. It was on A03. Umm it had lan wangji who was older than wei wuxian by some 5 years. In this madam lan lives and qingheng jun came out of seclusion. Not favorable to the jiangs. Uhhh also lan wangji was a dragon but the rest of the lans had dragon traits cause there ancestor was a dragon. It was a work in progress.Also it had the Lan Xichen/Nie Mingjue ship. @mommylovesfics

FOUND? 7 sounds a lot like I Am Happy I Met You by Bhargavee00 but unfortunately, it's been deleted from AO3. It had been a WIP that was last updated in 2024.

There are aspects of 7 in several of apathyinreverie fics. But none that have all the points together.

9. I'm looking for a Twitter/X thread. Wei Wuxian somehow time traveled and Lan Wangji ended up being sacrificed to him by the Lans . I think it had to do with the war? Pretty sure Wei Wuxian just murdered Wen Ruohan so the Lans think Wei Wuxian did nothing. I know the Jins summoned him and Jiang Yanli was in Lanling Jin Tower so Wei Wuxian took her as his offering. I think Wei Wuxian didn't exist or something because Jiang Yanli was afraid. When Wei Wuxian introduced them one of them said they knew each other and Wei Wuxian was like of course you do you're the two best people in the world. Wei Wuxian lived in a fancy house and I'm pretty sure his memories were messed up.

10. For the next fix finder, I'm looking for a modern Fic, I think it was a long-shot 40K or it might be multiple chapters. What I remember is the Wei Ying worked in a dept store when Lan Zhan came in looking to get something for A-Yuan (single father) and he got recommended an art set. There's one scene I remember where A-Yuan had gotten lost in the mall and Wei Ying found him and Lan Zhan had scolded him because he was concerned and A-Yuan I think had wandered off looking for a gift to give.

11. hi! i remember a modern au wx fic from sizhui's pov where he's in high school and was raised by lwj his whole life and suddenly wwx shows up (not sure how) and clearly lwj knows wwx and sizhui is happy his dad found a partner but also adjusting to the new family dynamic. i remember a specific scene where lwj asks sizhui to pick up a certain ingredient from the grocery store on his way home from school, and sizhui was working on a group project with jingyi and jin ling (and maybe ouyang zizhen, i don't remember). thanks for your time! @monstergreentea

12. Okay, this request might be a little hard to find since I don't remember much about it. It's a time-travel fic, and Lan Zhan goes back in time. He either doesn't get there in time to stop Wei Ying from losing his core, or he isn't able to stop it period. What I do remember is when Wei Ying is torturing Wen Chao, and Lan Zhan and Jiang Cheng confront him, Lan Zhan did not get mad, did not get upset, and accepted Wei Ying's use of resentment at that time. And this confused Wei Ying. That, sadly, is all I remember about the story. I have no idea what happens other than Wei Ying doesn't become a pariah, even with his use of resentment. I don't remember how or why, other than Lan Zhan helping him and accepting him. Hopefully someone can help, but there are so many time travel fix its that it may be hard. I've been looking for 2 different fics for weeks now with no luck. My memory is vague so it may be a long shot but I thought it was worth trying to ask

A: the fic takes place during the burial mound settlement days and is focused on the wen remnants and wwx acting like family and I know at some point wen qing jokingly complains about having two idiot brothers to wwx and wen ning

B: This fic takes place post-canon. Wwx is traveling by himself and a rumor gets spread amongst inn keepers and the common people that he is pregnant with lwj's baby and that lwj abandoned him. By the end wangxian get together. I think the rumor was spread by lan jingyi but i might be off there. I'm also 99% sure the rumor was entirely false

Regardless of if you can help me find it i appreciate any attempts made and hope anyone reading this has a lovely day/night! <3

I’m looking for a specific fic, it’s where wwx and lqr seem to swap consciousness or bodies, so LQR sees first hand what the burial mounds actually is and realizes wwx doesn’t have a core anymore. I’m pretty certain it’s NOT “judge softly” which is pretty close to the description. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

B) I just submitted a fic request like last night so sorry for submitting twice! I am looking for a fic that I’m NEARLY certain is one fic but might be two I’m combining… I can’t find it for the life of me:

-wen Qing and jwy find wwx and LWJ bound outside of the cold springs cave, so they get married quickly or even in the cave(??) or maybe they find they have to get married in the cave for their mission(???)

-wwx is hurt somehow, either by the abyss or yzy or something, and is bed bound and can’t go with LWJ to do the evil rock mission

-nhs and the rest of the sect heirs are all trapped in the cloud recesses while Wen Xu lays siege, LWJ is not but he arrives and see it happening from a distance

-wwx being bed bound completely revamps the wards from his bed, he might also convince them to let him reconfigure gusu lan battle music??? I believe that JZX has to carry him on his back because wwx is still too injured to be up and around (I know something similar happens in the one where wwx sneaks out of baoshans mountain to deliver letters to lan yi but in this fic I know wwx is injured and needs a lot of assistance because of it)

-NHS features heavily in socializing with wwx, he spends a lot of time with him and complains about the lack of food during the siege

Hopefully that wasn’t completely incoherent and is actually just one fic I’m looking for and not a couple that were similar that I combined. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

15. Hello! You do such an amazing job finding fics!! Could you please please please help me find a Xicheng fic (I promise I love Wangxian too) All I remember was that it was multi-chapter and Lan Xichen stays at Lotus Pier for awhile during lotus harvesting (or something like that), and Jiang Cheng playfully throws him in the water whilst the disciples are standing around in shock at Jiang Cheng laughing. It was one of the very first fics I ever read and I cannot find it. Thank you thank you!!

12. Okay, this request might be a little hard to find since I don't remember much about it. It's a time-travel fic, and Lan Zhan goes back in time. He either doesn't get there in time to stop Wei Ying from losing his core, or he isn't able to stop it period. What I do remember is when Wei Ying is torturing Wen Chao, and Lan Zhan and Jiang Cheng confront him, Lan Zhan did not get mad, did not get upset, and accepted Wei Ying's use of resentment at that time. And this confused Wei Ying. That, sadly, is all I remember about the story. I have no idea what happens other than Wei Ying doesn't become a pariah, even with his use of resentment. I don't remember how or why, other than Lan Zhan helping him and accepting him. Hopefully someone can help, but there are so many time travel fix its that it may be hard. A: the fic takes place during the burial mound settlement days and is focused on the wen remnants and wwx acting like family and I know at some point wen qing jokingly complains about having two idiot brothers to wwx and wen ning

B: This fic takes place post-canon. Wwx is traveling by himself and a rumor gets spread amongst inn keepers and the common people that he is pregnant with lwj's baby and that lwj abandoned him. By the end wangxian get together. I think the rumor was spread by lan jingyi but i might be off there. I'm also 99% sure the rumor was entirely false

B) I just submitted a fic request like last night so sorry for submitting twice! I am looking for a fic that I’m NEARLY certain is one fic but might be two I’m combining… I can’t find it for the life of me:

-wen Qing and jwy find wwx and LWJ bound outside of the cold springs cave, so they get married quickly or even in the cave(??) or maybe they find they have to get married in the cave for their mission(???)

-wwx is hurt somehow, either by the abyss or yzy or something, and is bed bound and can’t go with LWJ to do the evil rock mission

-nhs and the rest of the sect heirs are all trapped in the cloud recesses while Wen Xu lays siege, LWJ is not but he arrives and see it happening from a distance

-wwx being bed bound completely revamps the wards from his bed, he might also convince them to let him reconfigure gusu lan battle music??? I believe that JZX has to carry him on his back because wwx is still too injured to be up and around (I know something similar happens in the one where wwx sneaks out of baoshans mountain to deliver letters to lan yi but in this fic I know wwx is injured and needs a lot of assistance because of it)

-NHS features heavily in socializing with wwx, he spends a lot of time with him and complains about the lack of food during the siege

Hopefully that wasn’t completely incoherent and is actually just one fic I’m looking for and not a couple that were similar that I combined. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

- Wei Wuxian shows up and introduces himself as a medium.

- Lan Wangji is a skeptic — he doesn't believe in the supernatural.

- But Lan Wangji's brother (or maybe Mingjue) tells him something like: "It's fine, people work with Wei Wuxian sometimes."

What happens later (I might be mixing things up, but I think it's the same fic):

- There's a scene in the Cloud Recesses where Lan Wangji has an evidence board there with all the murders marked on it.

- Wei Wuxian notices a pattern in the killings.

- Another murder happens in the Cloud Recesses.

From what I remember, the ff is set before the Sunshot Campaign and WWX is a rogue cultivator (I think??); WWX and LWJ have not meet in their teens and instead meet in their adult years, WWX has already lost his golden core and has already defected, or was kicked out, from Yunmeng; he ended on bad terms with Jiang Chen. WWX and LWJ meet because I think, WWX was loitering around in the Cloud Recesses and was taken in for punishment (Idk for what). During his time there, he spends his time with LWJ, who I think supervises him as he undergoes disciplinary action (I could be wrong). They fall in love and eventually sleep together, the next day, they hear news about the Wen Clan, upon hearing, WWX says there's something he needs to do and gets ready to leave.

Before he leaves, both WWX and LWJ cut of a strand of their own hair and exchange it with one another, I believe the author notes that this is some type of marital rite. WWX leaves, and LWJ constantly worries over him. I forgot what happens next but LWJ is punished for having falling in love with WWX and wanting to be together with him and defending him. He is whipped and punished not to leave the Cloud Recesses. I believe his brother lifts the restriction once news comes in about WWX and the fact that he is helping the innocent Wens escape and has recently been spotted in Gusu.

They reunite but WWX is distancing himself from LWJ, due to rumors circulating about WWX and whether he practices demonic cultivation. I can't remember what happens next but WWX returns to the Cloud Recesses and both he and LWJ talk everything out and WWX talks about his past. Afterwards, they bring their strands of hair together. They get news of a meeting of some type to discuss how to bring down the Wens. WWX goes along with LWJ and Lan Xichen. I believe they attack him during this meeting and he eventually bumps into Jiang Cheng and ends up in an argument with him (I think). Jiang Yanli is still alive during this ff and has already given birth to Jin Ling, though he is an infant.

I can't remember much but I believe it ends with them attacking the Wens ans succeeding, though, WWX is ill (??) and weakened due to the toll that demonic cultivation has taken on him, I believe he was described as being close to dying. He and LWJ return to the Cloud Recesses, he tells LWJ to take him into the lakes of the Cloud Recesses and I believe it was implied earlier in the ff that the lakes of the Cloud Recesses have healing properties. Upon entering, all the accumulated harmful darkness (??) seeped and melted into the lake.

I hope the amount of details I provided helps, my summary/recount of the ff is not at all certain. I have left out a lot of parts due to lack of memory of them. Thank you for looking at my request and I apologize for the lengthy recount of the ff. Thank you!!!

Hi! I'm #6 on the fic finder, and sadly neither of those are correct. For A, it might help to know that Xichen actually confronts WWX directly, asking where he heard the song, rather than going to LWJ. For B, I remember LXC repeatedly collecting WWX to go for cleansings.

The events of canon will come to pass but play differently and there will be parts that are completely new. The main characters are and will remain the ones you hopefully expect to see.

“You want everyone to be happy, right A-Ying?” his mom would ask him when he didn’t want to let them go. Wei Ying thought that everyone being happy was nice, he liked being happy so other people must like it too. He would nod and his mom would give him a big beautiful smile. “You need to be brave and sleep little man and we will be back to wake you up in the morning”. His dad would tell him. “If you don’t sleep, you will be too tired to smile all day tomorrow and if you don’t smile how can we be happy?”. So Wei Ying would sleep.

Which is how he ends up masquerading as the first disciple of Lotus Pier while trying to figure out how to get out of Cloud Recesses without anyone discovering that he’s the disciple of Baoshan Sanren.
