Takami Season 6 Final Chapter Stage Card
- Shall we walk under the starlight? -
This is my first story translation EVER. I am an incredibly amateur fan translator so there might be mistakes. Thank you for reading.
Saki: Takami-san? Is something wrong?
Takami: Occasionally, there are times when I want to eat something from an izakaya¹ menu.
Takami: Grilled edamame and hiyashi tomatoes². The staff meals at starless are also delicious, though.
Saki: There are days when you have that kind of craving, right?
Takami: …Saki, That’s right. Why don’t we go home together today?
Takami: I don’t mind going to izakaya’s alone, but today I feel like it would be a bit dull.
Saki: Sure. Of course I’ll accompany you.
Takami: Thank you. I think I’ll work hard today too.
Saki: Grilled edamame and hiyashi tomatoes are waiting.
Takami: I’m looking forward to it. But first, you need to enjoy Starless.
Saki: Takami-san, you look happy. Shall we order first?
Takami: That’s right, grilled edamame and hiyashi tomatoes…
Takami: Well no, first I’ll get a drink, a draft beer. You like draft beer too, right?
Takami: And, is there anything else you want to eat?
Saki: Order to your cravings.
Takami: Thank you, then I won’t hesitate.
Takami: Deep-fried tofu, and umaki³ sound good too. I also want to have some kabobs.
Takami: I think a daikon⁴ salad would be good today.
Takami: And a rolled omelette, yeah. It’s perfect. Let’s order.
Saki: Hehehe, that sounds fun.
Takami: Thanks to you, it’s already fun even before the food is served.
Takami: But, I have to be careful not to rush and order too much. It’s times like these that you have to discipline yourself.
Saki: Hehe, you won’t lose to temptation, right?
Takami: By the time we got here, I had already lost. Don’t you think so?
Takami: Chain izakayas have a unique taste that you can only find here.
Takami: I hope you don’t find this surprising.
Saki: Then I’ll try not to say anything.
Takami: Besides, I brought you to a place outside Starless.
Takami: Starless is a nice restaurant, but you’re always going between the hotel and the shop.
Takami: In this area, your safety is guaranteed today, so don’t worry.⁵
Saki: Guaranteed safety……?
Takami: That’s my story. I hope this can be a distraction for you.
Saki: Maybe I’ll get to see the side of Takami-san who loves izakayas?
Takami: Something like that.
Takami: Moreover, there’s a lot of good things about a lively restaurant.
Takami: Even if you and I complain a little, nobody is listening to us.
Takami: Occasionally it’s okay to have a day like that. Don’t you think so?
Saki: Ocassionally, well that’s right. I’ll listen to your complaints, Takami-san.
Takami: Of course, and I’ll listen to your complaints too.
Takami: Let’s not tell anyone either, and forget about them ourselves. How does a promise sound?
Takami: Ah, it looks like the drinks have arrived first. Shall we start with a toast?
Saki: To the izakaya, kanpai!
Takami: Yes, kanpai to the izakaya, and your smile.
Saki: I’m so full. Everything was so delicious, that I couldn’t help but…
Takami: I think I got a little carried away and requested too much, but it was really delicious and I enjoyed it.
Saki: I enjoyed it too. Thank you for inviting me.
Takami: I’m glad to hear that.
Saki: Really, thank you so much. I’m glad to have had a change of pace.
Takami: …Let’s walk a bit while sobering up. I’ll escort you.
Takami: I think that when your surroundings become unstable, it can make you feel a little anxious.
Takami: In my case, it was the first time I came to Starless.
Saki: When did you first come to Starless?
Takami: I joined the store around the time they decided to move to the current location.
Takami: Kei opposed me once, and that was kind of interesting.
Saki: That’s somewhat surprising because you suit Starless well.
Takami: I’m happy to hear you say that. At the time, I was doing my best in my own way.
Takami: But, it was fun to learn W’s standard numbers, and stand on stage.
Takami: Even so, I was anxious about whether I could perform as W.
Takami: But that— you solved it for me,
Saki: Eh? I didn’t do anything special.
Takami: It might have felt that way to you. But, I felt supported.
Takami: I was happy to see you enjoying the show while I was on stage.
Takami: You are a special guest at Starless.
Takami: But— you are also a special person to me, that’s a secret though.
Takami: The two of us were drinking together, and a little of my true feelings ended up coming out.
Takami: You’re now at a big crossroad. I think there is a lot of anxiety.
Takami: But, don’t worry. You are not alone.
Takami: No matter your situation, everyone in Starless is here for you, I am here for you.
Takami: I… will protect you— Everyone feels the same way.
Takami: It’s been awhile since I’ve spoken so openly. I hope you don’t mind.
Takami: And, I’m happy even if you casually listened to my resolve.
Saki: Was it okay to casually listen?
Takami: I don’t want you to take it too seriously. …So let it go in one ear and out the other.
Takami: Once the situation calms down, I want to go drinking again. I’m sure you’ll feel more at ease than you do now.
Saki: That may be true… No, I’m sure of it.
Takami: Of course, though, that’s only if you’re interested in me.
Takami: I’d like to ask you to take it easy on me when that time comes. Without formalities, we’ll meet at an izakaya or something.
¹ Izakaya a type of japanese pub
² Couldn't decide if I wanted to translate this or not, but "chilled tomatoes" didn't seem to give off the right image? From google it's more of a tomato salad or cold tomatoes served with some dressings; It's a popular izakaya dish
³ A rolled omelet with eel in it. I didn't want to translate it to rolled omelet and omit the eel, because he mentions rolled omelettes (tamagoyaki) in the next line, so I just left it.
⁵ No spoilers (and I'm not caught up anyway there's so many missing translations ;-;) but he's referring to something that happened to Saki in Season 6.
