Sounds like the opposite of a problem to me, B. I’ve never heard Hunter complain, anyway. And if you’d seen him naked you’d understand.

But let’s get one thing clear; I am not soft. Just because I’m nice to both of you doesn’t mean I’m a saint, it just means I like you. Everyone else, I tolerate. 

There’s no harm in having some fun, Killer. Getting yourself out there. It might do you some good, considering how long you were in a relationship for. It’s not like you need to go home with someone that night - just test the waters a little bit, see how you feel.

Don’t ever tell anyone. We have reputations to uphold.

As much as I enjoy discussing our sex life with Anderson, I doubt it’s going to do much to uplift our co-captain’s mood. Might I suggest taking him for a night out and showing him said possibilities instead? If nothing else, it’ll be a good bonding experience before we’re stuck day and night prepping for Sectionals.

As much as I’d love to take credit for turning the great Sebastian Smythe soft— alas, he’s always been a big softie on the inside…. I know where your mind is going with this Smythe, and that part of you is never soft.

Rest assured, he does have a point. You’re not going to find yourself if you settle for the first guy you see. Go out, meet new people, test the waters a bit. And if you still prefer Russell, then you have your answer.

Well that’s true, I think Seb’s always been a softie inside, I guess I meant that I’m delighted to see him expressing that side so freely!  Bravo, Hunter, Bravo. 

Never soft? Hahahhahahhaha.  That sounds like that could be a medical problem, though. :D 

I wouldn’t say I would be settling.  Honestly I was fully prepared to be single for awhile...but Russell is not the kind of guy you meet every day.  Dating other people wouldn’t be about trying to figure out if Russell was right or not, it would be more about making sure I keep things casual for awhile, even if he does turn out to be Mr. Right.   So I can get more centered before I let myself really potentially fall for him. 

I honestly doubt I could find someone out there who I would prefer.  But I could have some fun, I guess?  It might force me not to think about Russell too much. 

Thanks for your support, you guys.  If people only could read these messages, they would know both of you are much nicer than most people think.

Believe me, Killer, I’ve tried. You just need to find a way to make it work for us. We’ll see what we can do about the choreography next practice.

Have you actually tried dating someone else? Or has it just been Russell? Maybe you need to get yourself out there. Why don’t you, me and Hunt go to Scandals on Friday night? We can be your wingmen, and I can warn you away from the guys that you do not want to go there with - trust me.

Of course we can.  I think I’m more frustrated about this Russell stuff than I am at those guys.  

No. See this is how bad I am at this?  I don’t know that Scandals is the right place, but I guess it’s a step up from trying online dating?  Where else am I going to meet gay men, the bookstore in the LGBT aisle?

Or maybe I should just try to be alone when I’m not with him.  I’m trying to be strong on my own, maybe dating two or more guys is not how to do that? You’re so sweet.  I beg to differ, but you’re very sweet.  Wait, when did you get so sweet?  Hunter’s turning you soft.  I kinda love it.

Alright, first of all, just put Trent and Meatbox in the back row so that their blunders get noticed less. I can help you give them less complicated choreography for just them that even they can’t possibly fuck up. Although, knowing Trent, he’ll find a way regardless. Second, you do not hate the uniform. It’s like a second skin on you. Third, what did Russell do to piss you off? Do you need me and Hunter to deal with him?

You’re right...it’s just frustrating, I just thought I could do it, that I could make it work with Trent and Meatbox.  

I don’t hate the uniform, I’m just tired of it.  I want to wear something else sometimes, not just on the weekend.  I just want to choose.

Russell didn’t do anything, I’m pissing myself off.  I thought I could do this casual thing with him, but I don’t know if I can.  I thought it would work because it’s long distance and he’s older and a great communicator, I thought I could handle it but after every conversation I feel so awkward about how long I need to wait to get in contact again, and wondering if he’s dating anyone else - which he is welcome to do that’s what we said we would do.   I just wish I could be that person who can stand on his own and not be so freaking needy.  It feels like it was with Kurt again, except Russell is much more responsive..but still on my end I still feel like this needy idiot.  That’s not who I want to be. I’m wondering if I should just cut it off.  But I like him a lot so I don’t know, it’s not him at all, it’s so frustrating because it’s really me.  I’m frustrated with who I am.

Just everything.  Midterm studying is ridiculous in English, I don’t know how Ms. Buttonwillow could be any more vague in what she said it would cover; turns out you’re right, Trent and Meatbox can’t seem to find their right foot no matter how much time I spend trying to rehearse them privately for sectionals; Cooper is making me insane with his texts every five minutes about an audition for a toothpaste commercial; last time I was home my dad just kept giving me these LOOKS.  Everything and everyone is just annoying the heck out of me: the dining hall potatoes were cold, I’m sick of wearing this uniform, my strap broke on my messenger bag, Thad, my phone case, my comforter, my whole thing with Russell, I’m out of hair gel...I could go on forever.

I’m going to go back to boxing, sorry you guys go back to studying.

@basthewarbler I can practically hear the sarcasm from my dorm room, but you have no idea what you’re missing out on. Those abs are even more impressive uncovered, and you’ll find that Hunter and I have many hidden talents between us.

Hunter’s lips quirked up into a small smile as he watched his boyfriend pull up a chair beside him and greet him with a kiss. “If I walked around shirtless all the time, I have a strong suspicion we won’t get anything done” he shot back, rolling his eyes exaggeratedly to emphasize the ridiculousness of Sebastian’s request.

Hunter turned his attention back to his new co-captain just in time to see his mouth hung open from shock. It was a rather comical sight, and in spite of his best efforts, Hunter couldn’t keep himself from chuckling as he watched Blaine glance back and forth between him and Sebastian in utter confusion. Hunter decided it was probably due time to let Blaine know about their relationship. “I believe my words were ‘I’m not remotely bisexual’— which I’m not. I’m most definitely gay” he explained nonchalantly, taking a sip of his latte.

Sebastian chuckled amusedly at Hunter’s exasperation, before turning to regard Blaine’s expression, eyebrows arching ever so slightly. “Wait, you didn’t know we were dating?” he asked, gesturing between himself and Hunter. “Could’ve sworn I mentioned it." When he tried to think of an example of mentioning it, however, he came up short. "Huh." 

Actually, he was shocked that none of the Warblers had told Blaine, either. They usually operated like a gossip mill - Trent in particular, despite Sebastian’s telling him over and over again to mind his own damn business. “I know for a fact that I talked about how hot you were,” he said to Hunter, smirking against his coffee as he took a sip. 

Blaine finally closed his mouth, licking his lips, which suddenly felt dry.  He looked at Sebastian with a bit of wonderment, and shook his head slightly.  “No...” Then he looked thoughtfully to one side. “Oh wait...huh...” he said with a little amazement.  “I think maybe it’s just one of those things that slipped through the cracks, maybe everyone assumed someone else had told me or that...” he shrugged, “that I followed you on social media more closely or something?” He looked at each of them politely.  “I haven’t been, sorry.”     Blaine looked away again, trying to remember.  “Hah, now that I think about it, someone said, “’Just wait until you see Sebastian and Hunter together...’ but I thought they were talking about you singing together...” He suddenly visualized Hunter and Sebastian kissing and he blushed, smiling a little stiffly.  

“Wow, I’m the chump here, aren’t I?” he continued. Before he smiled again (more warmly this time) his face showed for a moment a flash of the pain from for feeling incredibly stupid.  It was a gone in a half second, and he let out a little polite chuckle and then looked at Hunter with a humorous expression, borne of his years of performing.  “You really fooled me with your little turn of phrase, didn’t you?  Well, I’m happy to hear it, there aren’t enough out guys at Dalton.”  He gestured at Sebastian.  “And I’m so happy you’ve pinned this one down, I know he has high standards, so you must be the outstanding person I hoped you would be.  I’m even more glad we get to work together this year.”
