Honey orbs watched the Keeper as she worked, flanked by a taupe wing wth silver and black accents. It dwarfed the Warden elf, her small hands busy in his frazzled secondaries. While the griffon had no issue with his personal grooming, his bulk made it difficult to reach the area between his axillaries and secondaries. It was more of an inconvenience than anything, but her touch soothed any irritation caused by any clumping.

His beak nosed Usoa gently, signalling it was obviously time to stop what she was doing and give the beast her full attention. Her soft laugh rang out in the clearing, lilted voice the only noise besides the underlying sounds of nature. It was a peaceful day for a flight, a light breeze caressing the canopy above them.

A beak capable of rending limbs from darkspawn tucked itself against her bosom, warm air exiting the griffon's nares. His head rested there in content like a trained mabari, the nictating membrane of his eye sliding forth in relaxation. Slender fingers stroked the underside of his mandible, scratching here and there to bring forth a deep purr.

For a beast of war, Ishkur acted more like an overgrown feline with wings.
