Poorly lit phantom update. These pics are kind of old though. Its basically done now, just needs a base and touch ups

So my local GW store was given the go ahead to turn the back room into a game room a couple months ago.  These paintings were done and the floor retiled to get the room ready for the regional manager visit (only took two days) only to have him change his mind and tell the manager that despite his numbers being good he was doing a shitty job and people are not supposed to hang out in the store.

I know a lot of people gripe about GW business policy (for good reason) but I'm done.  I'll still be playing, but from now on I'll only be aquiring models second hand or through "alternate" websites.

primer pooling on resin?

Anyone had this problem?  I’m using the same primer I normally do, never had any problem with it before, but it’s pooling really bad on a couple new resin models.  Did I just not clean them good enough

What primer are you using?

Its rustoleum auto primer. I've used it on PP and GW metals and plastics and fine cast with no problem before. I caved and spent the absurd amount on GW primer though. I've used their Caliban green and it worked almost good enough and lasted long enough to justify the cost lodur it may or may not be a recast. I've spent a good 40 minutes scrubbing it again however and will be trying again after it dries. Will definitely try that if it still doesn't work though

So on top of getting 10k points of eldar painted for my apoc game in October I now have agreed to paint ~80 tactical marines 7 rhino/predators and 2 land raiders for someone AND paint up the imperial sector box set all by the second weekend of October. What the hell have I got myself into…

Ideas and blog shifting

Does anyone have any knowledge of a pretty big Eldar(preferably Iyanden) and IG battle in 40k fluff? I'm attempting to organize a 10k game in the next couple months and need some ideas. Also I've gathered way more followers than i ever expected i would when i started this and it's rad as shit. But I'm going to be shifting all my blogging activity to my primary blog. After like a year and a half of procrastinating (I think it was more like a year but still) I finally finished the line-edging and the base on my Stormtalon, so now it matches the Stormraven it’s escorting onto the board ASAP every game.
