Angela waited outside of the school, just like all of the other kids waiting for their parents to come and pick them up. But Angela stood a bit away from them, silently holding back sobs. Her outfit, which had just been bought for her by Jack, was all dirty. She knew she shouldn't have come to school. The other 9 year olds were just so mean to her

when jack went to retrieve angela this was hardly what he expected --- sure she may have been shy, but she was such a bright little thing he'd been certain she would have made friends. rather than giggling happily he found her alone, dirty, and very evidently doing her very best not to cry. jack could only frown as he stepped out of the car, making his way over to the little girl and squatting down in front of her.

❝ rough day, kiddo? ❞ his voice laced with worry and sympathy, brow furrowed. it was a troubling thing, the girl seemed to have such a hard time adjusting to her new home, as well as her new school. he'd hoped that would have been easy on her, but shy children were often quite the big target. ❝ come on, lets go home and get you changed, then we can go out for dinner. somewhere with good ice cream, how does that sound? ❞ jack offered his hand, waiting for the girl to take it before leading his daughter to the car. now he just had to hope reinhardt wasn't already cooking, it'd throw quite the wrench into the plans of ice cream.

gabe /was/ a good guy, but what he did was wrong & it bothers me that ppl try to make jack seem the worse one in order for him to be better

yeaaa i mean there is a lot to the story we dont know but its been such a thing where so many ppl say jack never even deserved to be commander and then portray him as the bad guy in gabes life its just yikes my dudes
