This thing ain't dead btw. I've been working on scripting chapters as I am going to make it a comic. I'm going to start sketching pages as soon as I have a good amount of script to work with.

Also working on a cover. Don't really have a title tho as 'The Sight' feels thematic for Jay and this sticks pretty closely to Alder until Jay and his littermates show up. Hmmm

Alderpaw concept doodle for his design. He has the m shape on his forehead to make it kinda look like a heart on his face, my irl cat has a very similar marking. I feel Alderpaw's great-grandfather Pinestar had a similar face marking.

Also those are Alder leaves behind his ear! I hc that some cats put leaves, feathers, or even flowers in their fur, usually behind the ears. WindClan cats most often put feathers in their fur, ThunderClan often do flowers and leaves, ShadowClan do leaves and pine needles, and RiverClan often don't things in their fur as it gets washed out when they swim.

Ashfoot-WindClan Deputy

She’s tired of her brother’s shit and misses her son.

Ashfoot is a grey she-cat with darker grey forepaws and tail tip, her muzzle also has a streak of silver on it. Her eyes are a dark blue and she wears a crow’s feather behind her left ear in honor of her thought-to-be-dead son, Crowfeather.

Idk why but I’ve always liked the idea of Brambleclaw having minor heterochromia(The right eye is a brighter shade of orange/amber)

Brambleclaw is a large brown tom with a red-brown patch of fur covering his back and tail and stripes of the same colour. He has a cream-ish coloured under belly and toes and tufts on his ears. He is rather tall with thick fluffy fur.

Random thought

I just had a great thought.

In this AU most father cats stay in the nursery for at least the first two moons to help take care of the kits and such.

A lot of what I'm adjusting is familial connections being stronger in this AU, at least in ThunderClan

This also makes Spiderleg's avoidance of his kits a lot more jarring and a lot of the clan look down at him for it and(because I'm a sucker for this ship) Cloudtail and Brightheart both step in to help Daisy out, thus probably resulting in them forming a poly relationship.

Anyway yeah I just thought of that while trying to fall asleep and had to post it, don't mind me
