About Me and This Blog.

Hello to everyone who decides to check this blog out!

I go by Warriorstale001 or Warrior if you prefer and I’m just a girl who loves writing fics over on AO3 just for the fun of it! When I’m not doing that, I’m most likely either reading or passionately playing a bunch of different video games.

I made this blog mainly to provide more information about my stories and to interact with my readers or other writers if they wish, but I’ll also at times talk about video games I’m playing, movies or series I’ve been watching and discuss other content from fandoms I’m in.

Anybody and everybody is welcome to hang out here if they wish to. I won’t turn anyone away because of their beliefs or views on any one topic, we’re all humans after all and each one of us deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy ^^. That being said, hate comments of any sort will not be tolerated and I will block anyone who posts anything I deem to be hurtful or cruel . Please be mindful of others!

So let’s talk about my fics!

Currently I have six works on AO3, one of which is fully complete. They are part of three different series, two of these being related to Nightmare's gang and the other being related to Bittybones! I tend to update sporadically whenever I feel like it, so please be patient with me. Also please don’t post my works to other sites or translate them without my permission.

I’m always happy to receive fan art and to see people being inspired by my stories to create their own! If you plan on doing this, please send your work to me so I can see it! I love seeing/ reading them all!

I check in on tumblr only every once in a while, so please be patient with me if I don’t respond to anything you question or send in immediately. If you need something urgently, I might be more likely to respond if you comment on one of my stories in AO3, since I’m always reading something there :D.

Hey!

Long time no post haha! Been pretty busy with life stuff and don't really go on Tumblr much anymore.

However recently I was looking through my notes and thought it might be fun to post some unfinished WIPs I started writing years ago and never got around to finishing.

These are all pretty old and probably wouldn't be up to the same quality as the last chapters I would have posted a year ago so I thought I'd ask those who follow me if you'd be interested in seeing them. Some of these will be AUs of XS while others are other UTMV ideas that I never got to write out fully (all of them involve Nightmare/Dream in some way if you're wondering).

I have been passing too many follower milestones that I could not keep up with while working on my comic and now that I'm back from my trip too, it's time for a little surprise. Wanted to give back to you guys a lil. So here is the plan…

I will be drawing a big piece with Tear, everyone's OCs around and few more known Sanses. You guys would also get the original A2 file as a download. There is no specific raffle slot amount, as I will try to squeeze in as many characters as I can. Aim is to have at least 40 characters in the drawing. I will use random number generator to pick OCs that get drawn. Mutuals are automatically guaranteed to be drawn. The art itself will take a long time to make, as it's a big piece, so please be patient.

Project Dragon was a game that was in development for 3 years only to be canceled weeks from its announcement and its entire art and development team laid off by the Phoenix Labs. The game (which would have been called 'Everhaven' upon release) was intended to be a multiplayer sandbox rpg taking inspiration from both Minecraft and Breath of the Wild, with an art style similar to that of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which some of the team members also worked on along with Crash Bandicoot 4.

According to character design/illustrator Nicolas Kole "Our cancelled project of the last 3 years is officially, truly dead as of today (internal attempts to save it failed), and the embargo on the whole body of portfolio work has been lifted". This means that the only way the game has a chance of resuming development is by raising awareness and spreading the word of it's development. Oca the ocarina golem not only had a 3D model ready to go, but also some animations and even his own theme!

Animations were created by Dave Huddleston who was also lead animator on both Crash Bandicoot 4 and Spyro Reignited.

Oca's Theme was done by, Cris Velasco, who has also created music for games such as God of War, Mass Effect, Bloodborne, Resident Evil, and several other well known franchises.

More and more amazing work continues to be shared by the dev team on X and I heavily encourage any interested to check it out and maybe share it with others, as well as the work of these two artists. I've read and reread @warriorstale001 's amazing fic "One Small Difference" twice now and this image stays glued in my head!! If you haven't already I highly recommend checking out this fic, it may not be complete but it absolutely rips your heart to pieces and is easily one of my favs <3

In my heart Nightmare is so sorry and the very next morning he goes to see Dream and immediately has a change of heart and they both go to therapy and Dream goes to the doctor 🧡

Important Update about my fics.

Hi everyone,

Been a while huh?

I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever, been pretty busy the last few months. So busy in fact I haven't written anything in what feels like forever.

Recently though, I started thinking more seriously about my fanfics. I can't keep telling you all over and over again that I'm 'going to start working on them soon' just to completely ignore them any more. I still love Undertale and UTMV content but I just don't seem to have it in me to write anymore… And I think it's about time I admit that to you all.

So yes in case you're wondering, to summarise this entire post, I'm done writing fanfics and all of my current WIPs are going to be put on indefinite hiatus unless I am able to rekindle my love for writing them at some point in the future.

It's not easy for me to post this, especially because I don't want to admit to myself that I'm not the Undertale/UTMV fan that I was, but I've been in this fandom for 6 years now and I just can't put in the dedication to this fandom that I once did.

I'm still going to be on Tumblr and I might post something on occasion but it'll be pretty rare if I do. If anything it'll be older content I wanted to share but never did at the time I made it for some reason. You're free to keep following me, but I understand if you don't wish to anymore.

I'm sorry if I've disappointed any of you. A part of me is disappointed in myself and I hope one day I'll find it in me to finish my fics, even if that's 5 or 10 years down the road… But right now I just can't do it and I think it's time everyone who follows me knows that.

Thank you for reading my fics and for following me. Its truly been an honour writing fics for this fandom for the past four years.

"When will fanfic writers update their stories?"

"Does this fanfic writer have adequate enrichment to engage in writing behaviours?"

Fanfiction writers (Scriptor fictus) are intelligent animals who need plenty of enrichment as well as encouragement! If they're stuck in poor conditions (e.g. have studies, work, have to actually write to have something written) then they require the proper enrichment to engage in more healthy behaviours, like writing. Remember, due to poor breeding and socialisation, over half of all fanfic writers suffer from low self confidence and executive dysfunction so take care of them!

Give your fanfic writers proper care. Fanfiction writers are a life long commitment.
