bobby's so called "diss" to vixx was 3 months ago when he was on SMTM. why wasn't it relevant then? 90 days have passed, 2160 hours have passed since bobby's "diss". WHY NOW?
Whether it’s a coincidence or not, what does it matter?
The important thing is that we met.

Qn: what was the most memorable moment that happened to you this year? [GQ Korea]
The lovely Park Shin Hye stars in the series Pinocchio, which premieres today. While we can’t wait to see her chemistry with costar Lee Jong Suk, we can’t help but hope that she amps up one aspect of her acting: kissing scenes. When you’ve got K-drama’s hottest men making a move, there’s no excuse to stand there like a petrified doll! Basically, when PSH kisses, she thinks she’s like (via) …but the guys are really like (via) To show you what we mean, here (in n
Well this was fucking disgusting. I am having trouble articulating all the ways in which this article is horrible and offensive through my rage fog. If I miss anything, please add it.
1. The presumption that Park Shin Hye, and Park Shin Hye alone, is wholly responsible for the tone of her kissing scenes. She’s an actress, she takes direction. Which, when the director wants a more equal-participation style kiss, she delivers, as she does at the end of Flower Boy Next Door. Yet no one makes lists of "Directors Who Rely Too Much on Rotating the Camera Matrix-Style to Generate Emotional Resonance Forcing Actors to Stay Frozen During Kissing Scenes", or "Dramas that Equate Goodness with Sexual Purity and Don’t Allow Female Leads to Initiate or Reciprocate Kisses". Let’s just trash the girl. Because that’s original.
2. The fact that even though in many of these examples the male leads are also moving slowly, stiffly, and freezing in place on contact while taking pains to avoid touching any part of her body other than her lips- the men are totally absolved of any responsibility. Park Shin Hye is clearly the “difficult” one, the “prude”. They feel sorry for their poor oppas who have to work with such a bad kisser. Patronizing idiots.
3. “She has all these hot co-stars, what’s wrong with her?” The idea that just because they all find their oppas, like, totally dreamy, that every woman should just want to make out with them all the time. And if PSH doesn’t, she’s the problem. Nevermind PSH’s personal standards for what makes her WANT to make out with someone. They think oppa is pretty, so she has to want to make out with them whenever, or she’s defective! It’s like the author channeled their inner sexual predator.
4. The complete inability to separate Park Shin Hye the actress from the character she is portraying. Frankly this is disturbing. “When you’ve got K-drama’s hottest men making a move, there’s no excuse to stand there like a petrified doll!” Um, yeah, there’s plenty of reasons. Kdrama tropes that guide the standards for innocent female leads and demand they stand there like petrified dolls, the script, the director, professionalism. It’s like they’ve failed to realize that the person they are watching, the choices they are making-that isn’t Park Shin Hye, that’s a nun disguised as her twin brother, or terrified shut-in editor, or a high school student and her two remarkably pretty stalkers. And for each of these characters, it makes perfect sense that these advances are not exactly welcome, or if they are, that the ladies aren’t really experienced at it. It’s called acting.
So even if Park Shin Hye actually wants to make out with Lee Min Ho, the script calls for Kim Tan to sexually assault her in a broom closet, so she’s going to act reluctant and slightly horrified, because that is her job. (I’m not gonna touch on the problems with people who can tell the difference between the actors and the characters, and still think the female characters should always be receptive and eager to kiss every jackass because “he’s so hot”. We went over that nonsense during Heirs.)
Somehow trying to make an aspect of the Kdrama industry that is found in almost every drama and involves the choices of writers, directors, actresses and actors as some sort of personal defect of Park Shin Hye, then lining up and critiquing each kiss in gif form like she’s a blow up doll there to service your favorite actor, is fucking repulsive.
I thought i'd bring this back because apparently the recent kiss in pinocchio wasn't enough. THIS POST IS FUCKING LIFE. FUCK YOUR OPPAS. THEY GET TO KISS THE DAMN QUEEN PARK SHIN HYE.
