Joe Biden’s call for war with Russia, and how to negotiate our way out of avoid this: Last week on Meet the Press, Vice President Joe Biden further agitated tensions further when he said the U.S. would launch a cyber war with Russia at some point. A few days later Putin sent a fleet of warships through the English channel, en route to Syria, but also as a demonstration of force.
The left do not want an actual war with Russia, they just want to talk about it.
Russia became an easy target to blame to explain the recent hacking of Hilary’s email. In 2014, Hilary Clinton compared Putin to Hitler. She was part of a chorus of Democrats and Republicans who denounced Putin as if he were the worst person on the planet. Days after the Malaysian plane crashed inexplicably over Ukrainian territory, Senator Charles Schumer accused Putin of having shot down the plane, even before the forensic evidence had been collected.
Clinton, Schumer, and the rest of the Washington elitist love to talk tough, as long as they don’t actually have to follow through with any kind of real actions, but their words may provoke actual consequences, that no body wants.
What if their words are taken literally in Russia, and Putin strikes first.
Negotiation makes sense however. Putin is a rational leader, and might be listen to reason. Right now both the U.S. and Russia have an irrational opponent, that being ISIS.
The link below is to a video that shows how Putin resolves a factory strike. While most likely a staged propaganda video like most leaders put out, it tells us that Putin wants to be viewed as a rationalist and a problem solver. Meanwhile we were shocked by media images that ISIS wanted to see, such as a child holding a machete and the disembodied head of his victim in the other hand. He of course new how to post this on Instagram.
The kind of image that one puts out, though skewed, still tells you a lot about them.
