Many thought that mutually assured destruction would be what saved the world. However, it’s what did it in. When nations began to drop bombs on one another, the fire that reigned from the sky became too much for most to handle. The radioactive fallout that covered the earth quickly plunged it into a state of apocalypse, killing most who were unfortunate enough to be alive at the time of the war.
Some, however, took shelter in massive, underground vaults, where they were spared from the horrors of nuclear devastation. You are among those few.
It is here, in Vault 19, where you are safe.
Or so you thought.
As you hide from the horrors of the wasteland, another type of hell awaits you in the corridors of your vault: a game of mutual killing.
How did you get here? What’s going on? Will you survive?
The only way to know is to play.

"That means you've got about 984 hours left! Not exactly, but it's a rough figure. That can also be calculated in minutes, in which case you have around 59,040 minutes! Or, if you like, I can calculate this in seconds! If I do that, then you have 3,542,400 seconds! I hope that information was interesting!"
Please note that we will add all characters who are applied to the group to the hopefuls page! If you do not want your character's name displayed, you can let us know, but we will display their SHSL so that other people who are applying can get a sense of the characters that they may be playing with, and so they know if there are any duplicate SHSLs that have been sent in.

The fight for freedom and justice is one cold and unforgiving. With the everlasting threat of death constantly looming over their heads, 25 students find themselves trapped in The Nexus, a high-tech RPG. The price for an exit ticket? Murder. With fear invoked in their hearts, there’s only one question the students have;
"Will we succumb to the orders of the hierarchy?"
Virtual Distress is a roleplaying group based on the murder mystery series Dangan Ronpa. Several aspects of the game will be brought into the group, murder, trials, and execution sequences. However, there’s a twist;
The game contains several JRPG aspects as well! Taking aspects from games like Final Fantasy, Virtual Distress guarantees exciting battles, and a heart-pounding plot.
Explore new worlds, defeat the big bosses, travel dark dungeons and more! Win achievements for fighting, cooking and mastering your skills! Join the rp that will be the closest DR crossover to an actual JRPG video game. With twists at every turn, will you be able to go back to reality? Or will you die in this virtual hell?
Applications for Virtual Distress are open! We need several more apps in order for the group to go forward. If interested, please apply! If not, even spreading the word around helps.
We’ll have artwork, a heart-pounding plot, voice acting, fight scenes, and more! But we can’t do this without you.
