I haven't meant to go on another hiatus, but the reality is, is the state of the world rn is just too heavy; especially when it comes to Esme.

Writing a character who faced physical, emotional and coercive abuse, a lack of rights and bodily autonomy when we've got who we have in positions of power is just... a lot™.

I love her sm, but writing a character who canonically had no rights at all, watched as women gained rights throughout the years, to now losing those rights bit by bit just... hurts.

I will be back eventually! The tide is turning, everyone can feel it, but for now I might just write Esme exclusively on Discord until I can come back consistently as her muse comes and goes sporadically!

If anyone wants to write or chat there, pls do! As much as I'm struggling to write her, I still enjoy discussing dynamics, plots and our characters! 💜
