tfw u get a tarot reading which is insightful except for the nine of swords which doesn't quite fit until two nights later when you're literally lying in bed sobbing because of griefs that come from deep within your being like i do not think i could be more of a caricature of this card rn
Coping,
I'm really excited to be able to inhabit my life again. This room is the safest place I've known in my life.
I submitted my thesis and an application to a really amazing job today but I feel numb and sad and it's probably pmdd but I'm just really drained and blank and idk what's really happening in my brain.

Going barefoot is the gentlest way of walking and can symbolize a way of living — being authentic, vulnerable, sensitive to our surroundings. It’s the feeling of enjoying warm sand beneath our toes, or carefully making our way over sharp rocks in the darkness. It’s a way of living that has the lightest impact, removing the barrier between us and nature.

The Palestinian teacher, Hanan Al Hroub, who teaches refugee children has been named as the world’s best teacher.
“I am proud to be a Palestinian female teacher standing on this stage,” she said after receiving the award. Hanan Al Hroub grew up in a Palestinian refugee camp and now is a teacher of refugees herself. She specializes in supporting children who have been traumatised by violence. The winner was announced at an awards ceremony in Dubai, with a video message of congratulation sent by Prince William. Ms Al Hroub told the audience that “teachers could change the world”. Growing up in a refugee camp near Bethlehem, Ms Al Hroub now works with refugee pupils, with an approach using play that is aimed at resolving violence and tension. She says she will spend the prize money on supporting her students.

[R]ather than think of bisexuality in ways that already presume identity (for example, male plus female), it might be more useful … to consider bisexuality as the splitting of desire that renders all identity incoherent and perverse from the start: deprived of a single origin, a unified identity, intention, or goal, the teleological notion of sexuality that segregates bodies and pleasures into distinct identities and appropriate practices has no fixed and stable foundation.
