i just dont want it to feel like this anymore
Poem 50 ("I lost my way, I forgot …"), Leonard Cohen
I think the creation of beauty actually has a lot to do with care and integrity. The most beautiful people I know move with a depth of care for themselves, others, and the earth that naturally exudes from them. When you care about your craft and your life it’s never not felt. Beauty in my eyes is a harmonious, sacred intelligence.
girls…this loneliness is getting really hard to romanticize
reading a good interesting book after a horrible reading slump and suddenly you can feel the sun shining again and the sky is more beautiful than ever and birds are all singing songs to you
the version of you from five years ago would be genuinely amazed by what you’ve handled since then. sit with that for a second
embarrassing yourself sucks but it is Not the end of the world. I'm telling me this
It’s kinda cool how someone can just pop into your life all of a sudden and become so important to you within such a small amount of time. I think that’s what makes life so interesting though. There’s always a reason to be hopeful for the future because you never know what good things will come your way next.
all the roads lead back to the loneliness ive felt ever since i was a child
Big fan of “Better late than never” and “Better a little than none” when it comes to things that I know are good for me. It is doing the things that matter, in whatever capacity you can, cause let’s face it: Sometimes you have been doing so badly that doing anything at all is a huge win and something that takes a lot. Sometimes you have been doing some other things and sometimes you are just so so exhausted. A little bit matters, doing it later than ideal or planned matters, being kind to yourself matters. 🌸
