I've been rewatching MyStreet bc I'm graduating in a few days (and not to mention the next season), so oh my Irene... I started watching Aphmau lore since I was 7, and now I'm 16, that's genuinely insane to me. No matter how cringe my brother (13) finds it, it's taught me a lot regarding perspectives and how that takes effect on people; and I really should've embodied those values in my current years lol...
It has genuinely reminded me that everyone's lives differ in ways that aren't necessarily catered to your own personal world views. And that people change and pass you by throughout your life. Not everybody stays, and that's the unfortunate truth, but regardless, those persons shape you and alow you to grow through the good memories and sticky and complicated situations.
People aren't just good and bad (ok but, fuck Ein); strangers can become kin; the selfish can becone selfless; the unharmed has the choice to be complicit—and folk aren't just an open book you're waiting to read, but a novel waiting to be understood. And sometimes Shakespeare isn't truly understood but I digress.
Life is a blesing, and a hindrance all at the same time. But shit gets better. So many important have left my life whether intentionally or with no expectance, and scars take time to heal.
Kind of embarrased that I'm saying all of this under a MyStreet post, but it has truly carried me through the thick and thin. Thank you, MyStreet. I hope to grow with you even more.
