Love from first sight. ❤️🐦🐦 Doris arrived in july this summer and since then are Rutger and Doris a couple. ❤️

I was a bit afraid that Rutger would be less social with us but he is not. Especially when I am home alone with them he will fly and sit with me. Doris will also sit close by but a bit shy still. But we are working on that every day. 🐦🐦❤️

Last stop before Örnsköldsvik. In Örnsköldsvik did we find a beautiful budgie that got the name Doris. We have a long time tried to find a friend to our Budgie Rutger that appeard in our garden the early summer 2024. We tried to get a rescue but now we find Doris in Örnsköldsvik while we looked arround in a petstore. She was observing us and we fell for her gaze. 🐦❤️

Then we went straight home to Avesta. 🐦❤️

Messaure powerstation and the village that disappeared.

The Messaure dam was one of the largest of its kind when it was built. A temporary city was also built for the workers and their families. But the city was gradually dismantled after that. Today, only the road network remains.
