You can say that again. Maybe I am…I dunno. I can’t uh…really say. But um, thank you. I know. I mean…I can’t really help it. If I could, well…I probably would.

I um—no. Honestly, uh, socializing isn’t…my forte. But it does! I’m um…not really, though. A demeanor is just a demeanor, y’know? You’re…equally as intimidating as most other people are to me. So uh…don’t feel bad.
Don't worry. Its not mine either. All the more reason to get away from here. You're not really sweet? I think you look it. And from the short time I've known you, I've gathered you really are. Oh c'mon. People shouldn't intimidate you. You've got to stop that mentality.
Ana felt alerted at the sound of her name, turning around to find a familiar face which eased her surprise a little. “Eli, hey.. yeah, I’m fine. Kinda got a little wild down there — needed to get away. Are you alright?” She wasn’t sure why she was concerned, but she was.Â
Eli was undeniably surprised she was asking if he was okay but he tried not to let his expression show it. It wasn't often that anyone paid mind to him so to hear her of all people question him, it was needless to say pleasing. "Really? You're like, literally the life of the party here. But I guess that entails you needing a second away.." He trailed off before nodding. "I'm fine. Yeah, thanks. I just wanted to escape for a bit myself, but I'll leave you be."
Just some pushy people at this party.  Nothing I can’t handle.
Push 'em back. They all seem harmless though. Mostly 'cause they're drunk.
Oh, wow…that’s definitely not true. But uh…thanks, I suppose. No, you are! You’re like…super tall and quiet and you’ve got like…the leather jacket thing going on, I dunno. You’re a little bit intimidating. I totally appreciate that, thanks.
I'm sure its true and you're just lying to me right now. You really are. You seem real uh, sweet. No! Just because I'm tall, quiet, and wearing a leather jacket shouldn't make me intimidating but I guess that's sort of a good thing? But really, don't be intimidated by me. Kinda makes me feel bad..
“Escapism through alcohol is the easiest thing to do for people with no other way.” She lightly grinned at him.
"There's plenty of other ways. People are just too lazy so they take the wrong paths but hey, I try not to judge." He smiled softly.
Yeah…shocking, right? Uh…okay, cool. I mean…there’s probably no one in there, so. But uh, if there is…I’m trusting you to kick them out because well…you’re kinda intimidating, so…yeah.
No, its not shocking. You seem like the type of girl that gets along with everyone. Me? Intimidating? Haha, seriously? Nah. No, I can't be. But if there is, I'll try my best to kick their asses out.
“Good to know.” She lightly laughed at him as she took the bottle back, she take a quick gulp keeping a straight face. “Don’t like the taste?”
"Its a bitter taste but I know why people drink it.." He shrugged, watching her take another gulp. "To get drunk and quote on quote have a good time, obviously. Can't blame you."
I wouldn’t say…everyone. Just…y’know, friends and acquaintances. So like…five people at most. Yeah that would be…uh, pretty lame. Uh, we could go…to my room or um, outside, if you want. Wherever, really…
Sweet.. you actually know people, haha. Um.. okay. Yeah. I guess your room would be ideal. I have a feeling outside is just as bad.
“You should try it drinking is fun and leads to fun outcomes. Like kissing hot guys.” Naomi grins at him as she offers him her bottle.
"I'm not really interested in kissing hot guys.." He chewed on his lip for a moment when she offered over the bottle and after slight hesitation, he gave in and took it. Swinging it back for a gulp, he quickly handed it back. "Yeah, now I remember why I don't drink."
Oh, no, I’ve…been up there most of the night. I come down to uh, talk to some people, so. Oh, um…okay, yeah. Did you, uh…wanna like go somewhere? Or uh, something?
Oh. So you did your share in socializing with everyone, I assume. Uhhh.. I guess. Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't want to give it to you here. Whatever works for you.
“Most of us are, we have grown up like this. Do you have shame?” Naomi grinned at the boy closely examining him.
"I know. Me? No. No shame. But then again I'm also not swinging back alcohol.." He pondered it for a second but opted to keep his eyes fixed on her instead.
Okay, so like…there’s one safe place. But uh…if you leave, you’re a goner. Wait, actually? Oh, um…thank you.
I'm actually surprised you're not up in your one safe place. Oh, I see. Yeah. Its in my backpack but I um, I'm afraid to take it out here and get it smudged with paint..
“Of course shame isn’t my thing.” Naomi ran a hand through her hair smiling at the guy.
"I can see that. Doesn't look like shame is anyone else's thing here either." He smiled, glancing around at the swarm of drunk people.

Why the backpack?
Cause I've got a few things in there? Couldn't bring them in hand or else they would've gotten covered in paint.
I've been smothered and smudged with paint by drunk strangers. I'd normally be bothered but the neon paint is pretty cool, not gonna lie. Maybe this crappy backpack I brought won't look as crappy when this is over.
