Marx to me personally is like Kirby's older brother who constantly gets into trouble and is like a bad influence. But Kirby still loves his brother and forgives him for his crimes!! Marx of course still continues to prank Kirby quite often to, but it's all in good fun nowadays!

I do think Marx sometimes has a moment of vulnerability where he does genuinely show like familial affection towards the pink puffball.
