Whenever I see Smitty from The Rookie, I always think of this one YouTube/TikTok comment I saw (it might not have been worded exactly like this):

“You know how some people you can trust with the small stuff but not the big stuff? Smitty is the opposite. You can trust him with the big stuff, but not the small stuff.”

And honestly, that describes him perfectly. If I was a cop in The Rookie, I’d trust Smitty to have my back in a dangerous situation 100%. He’d show up when it actually matters.

But asking him to pick where we’re getting lunch? Absolutely not.
