Will territorial expansion and colonization during the medieval and industrial phases be dynamic? In other words, can the player expand their borders by establishing separate towns and colonies across different parts of the world—thereby having the opportunity to become a nation with intercontinental and overseas territories—or is the total buildable area fixed from the start, with the experience relying solely on conquering other nations and seizing their territories?

There will likely be empty areas that your empire can colonize. I'm not certain yet if or how building on uneven terrain will work, so maybe it will be restricted to specific places that are optimized for building.

Will you be able to find planets in the space stage with two dominant species? Like mixed cities or maybe some parts of the planet belonging to different species

It's planned that citizens of space empire's can be in the cities and space stations of allies. Or in neutral areas like the Blorb Station.

In the advanced stages—from the Tribal stage onwards—can simulated conflicts with other civilizations arise due to factors such as disputes and wars over territory with fertile soil or scarce resources, or even ideological clashes? Or do interactions depend on predetermined events, such as random declarations of war?

A bit of both. I can imagine raiders just spawning randomly, while neighbour nations can get angry at you for different reasons.

Can species on the same planet coexist while at different technological levels and stages—for example, with the player's planet hosting species in the tribal stage, others in the medieval stage, and some that are already industrialized?

Only to some extent. At the start of medieval stage you'll likely still see tribal villages. By the end of industrial stage you'll probably be the only sapient species on the planet, since you've completely colonized it.

I want to add some cross-stage interactions though. Like fishing up an aquatic stage creature. Or finding remains from a more advanced species that visited your planet.

Will there a be world creation menu where you will be able to select plants, species, world color etc?

There will be a planet selection and an option to import different creation collections to populate the galaxy, which will work similar to Sporecasts. Here's an old, very high quality concept art for the planet selection screen:

How will tribal and medival stages differ from each other since they seem pretty similar similar aside from more technological tools and buildings?

In tribal stage, you'll be a hunter / gatherer, focusing on survival, while in medieval stage, you control an entire area of the planet and focus on building a city.
