5 Taste Bud Tickling Places to Eat in India
Travelling is an experience that involves all your senses!
While being grounded in South Africa for over two years, memories of my time in India surfaced. And one of my fondest memories was visiting a spice plantation in Goa. It is no wonder that India is called the Land of Spices as it produces a variety of spices, which is shown off in its cuisine. If you want to taste some of India’s best dishes, visiting its restaurants is a must. These restaurants…

My Two Dads
Leaving a legacy for your children is more than leaving behind a fortune! Some legacies can't be measured in monetary terms ...
Some are fortunate to have one dad that loves and dotes on them, while others never learn the love of a father. I am one of the few who knew the love of two fathers. One was my biological father, who showered me with love since the day I was born, catered to my every need, and sometimes my whims. He taught me to ride a bike and encouraged me to rollerskate. He stayed up at night to help me…

The time has gone for words of condemnation. Now is the time to take decisive action against a lawbreaker that presides over an apartheid system
John Boyne, foreign affairs speaker for the opposition, left-wing Sinn Fein party, told Al Jazeera on the Israel/Palestine issue.
No matter what he does, every person on earth plays a central role in the history of the world. And normally he doesn't know it.

And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.

Memories light the corners of my mind…
Memories … Can we shape our memories? Here's a peek at how I want to be remembered.
Can we shape our memories? Every day, we make memories. Today’s events are tomorrow’s memories. How we live today is vital for the generations that follow, as they will learn from the example we set. Whether it’s using paper straws, recycling plastic, or just showing kindness to other beings, live today the way you want to be remembered tomorrow. Don’t squander your present, cherish it! The…

I was called a terrorist yesterday, but when I came out of jail, many people embraced me, including my enemies, and that is what I normally tell other people who say those who are struggling for liberation in their country are terrorists.
Nelson Mandela
The West sees liberation movements as terrorist movements, and that is why I am accused of supporting terrorism: because I support liberation movements.
Muammar al-Gaddafi
Living in patriarchy means that the default inclination is to center men and their voices, not women and their work.
Patrisse Cullors
We are all gifted, but we have to discover the gift, uncover the gift, nurture and develop the gift and use it for the Glory of God and for the liberation struggle of our people.
Louis Farrakhan
The movement for black lives isn't just about black people. Black liberation has never just been about black people. It's been about a fight for our humanity, for our dignity.
Patrisse Cullors
We had to forge an alliance of strength based not on colour but on commitment to the total abolition of apartheid and oppression; we would seek allies, of whatever colour, as long as they were totally agreed on our liberation aims.
Oliver Tambo
Israeli cities — not just illegal settlements — are built on or around the forced displacement and erasure of Palestinians. After Zionist settlement and the Nakba, when Zionist militias violently expelled 750,000 Palestinians from their homes, cities in Israel’s ’48 borders were Judaized, and their Palestinian residents and histories were erased.
This is why Palestinians use the phrase “ongoing Nakba” to describe Israel’s attempted ethnic cleansing in Sheikh Jarrah, Silwan, Beita, and throughout the West Bank. Though Israel’s tactics of displacement and narratives used to justify it have changed, the Nakba has continued unabated to this day.
We must not let the still-Palestinian cities meet the fate of the Judaized cities in Israel’s ever-expanding “borders.” We must support Palestinians in their struggle to stay in their homes today — and to end the ongoing Nakba and get their right to return to the cities that Zionists expelled them from within our lifetime.

“We have our own struggle that we are conducting. Our attitude toward any country is determined by the attitude of that country to our struggle.”
Mandela's answer when asked why he accepts the support of Castro, Qaddafi, and Arafat. It’s simple.
Who are the Chosen Ones? Palestine vs Israel
A few weeks ago, Palestine was yet again thrust into the spotlight, and the world scratched its collective head and wondered what happened. It needed to revisit history books to remind itself how this situation originated.
One of the most controversial documents in modern history, the Balfour Declaration, was Britain's attempt to create a national home for the Jewish people after World War One. This pledge allowed the Zionist's fascist plans to be set in motion and sealed the fate of the Palestinians in true colonial imperial style.
The Balfour Declaration, whether directly or indirectly, led to the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people from the land in 1948, termed an-Nakbah in Arabic or Palestinian Catastrophe. It also led to the creation of the state of Israel on 14 May 1948. The ethnic cleansing is ongoing if the "real-estate dispute" in Sheikh Jarrah is anything to go on.
The latest village, Sheikh Jarrah, is fighting for its predominantly Palestinian families to remain in their homes even though Israeli Courts have authorized their eviction to make way for an Israeli settlement.
