Slapstick hates the Joker. They'd adored him once, in the way an animal fears its master.

Trained into silence, comic relief. A meat shield that giggled for every hit it took, proud of its wounds for all to see.

It's a pity that all Corus-Corvid wants is for them to fade away and be silent. Nice and kind and all those things that got them hurt in the first place.
