I am a normal enjoyer of this show, and have not been spiraling about the concept of tomatoes since they decided to make it a plot-relevant stand-in for an easily understandable concept.

For the Big O ask game: 1, 4, 6, and 7

1 - Discovered it through a random person in a Discord server. Someone recommended it to a acquaintance in common, the vague premise given by the dude made me really curious and interested, then i gave it a shot.

4 - I'd hope the series was more explored in media, overall. Paradigm City is very charming in its mysterious and vague atmosphere, i feel like a lot of stories could be set there and explore very different angles from the city, with a plethora of themes to address. In my opinion, Big O is a perfect series for spin-offs and derivatives — be they prequels, sequels, or more "AU" approaches like those of the Fate series. Whatever, just gimme more of this, y'know?

Although it might kinda contradict what's established in the show's original ending, i would love to see more of what's going on inside some characters' heads and their pasts. What's Schwarzwald doing on an average day? What thoughts are running through that banana head? What even made him like that (both psychologically and physically)? I wish they explored more simple and mundane stuff too, besides the cool as hell mechas.

Different interpretations of the show's base premise would be pretty cool.

6 - Fuck, that one's difficult. Absolutely LOVE the soundtrack in its entirety, but i'd like to highlight the song that plays during Big Duo's reveal (iirc the song is called "Spirit" or something along those lines), The Process, Sleep My Dear, the ending and Apollogine.

7 - I do, but haven't read much of it yet.

This post is going to be tonally different, but as you might've noticed, there haven't been any posts from me for the last two weeks. I did in fact have my presentation in the beginning of this month, yay to me, but the prep was so physically and emotionally draining that I ended up in a lethargic state and was unable to put even a few words together to give any substantial updates. My apologies.

I'll use two more weeks of rest before I return back to Big O shitposting.

As for the competition; even though I haven't seen any submissions for the first round, I'm still willing to proceed with the rest of it until Christmas. Lemme know in the replies if you want me to extend it until the end of this year.
