Take a moment today to ask yourself: What occupies the greatest place in my heart? Wealth, comfort, status, or the pleasure of Allah?
The path to true success begins when love for Allah becomes greater than every worldly attachment. This does not mean abandoning the blessings of this life, but loving Allah so deeply that every choice, every sacrifice, and every hope is guided by His pleasure.
One of the clearest signs of loving Allah is loving His Book. The Qur’an is not merely to be recited—it is to be cherished, reflected upon, and lived. Every verse brings us closer to our Creator, heals our hearts, and illuminates our path.
Today, spend a few extra minutes with the Qur’an. Read it with reflection, act upon what you learn, and let your love for Allah grow through His words.
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"The first thing for which a person will be brought to account will be his Salah. If it is complete (all well and good), otherwise Allah will say: 'Look and see if My slave did any voluntary prayer.' If he is found to have done voluntary prayers, his obligatory prayers will be completed therewith."
