Well, I’m not sure if they’re actually gonna do it. But idk, I’m still postive. I mean, we’re gonna get Carzekiel soon, which means C//aryl won’t be that big of a deal anymore (i still want Daryl and Carol to have scenes together tho, I love their relationship). Idk, it just fits. Like, Daryl has been pretty lonely last season, like usually it was Carol or Rick who were always by his side, but now Rick’s with Michonne, Carol’s with Zeke. Let’s say they’re pretty busy. Daryl needs someone again. Especially now, he’s a goddamn mess, he needs someone he can trust. And now let’s remember how much time he spent with Jesus last season, how he gave him clothes and a place to stay. Like srsly, whenever we saw Jesus on screen, Daryl wasn’t far. And now let’s remember NYCC, when Tom kissed Norman’s hand. Or I remember this article about lgbt characters on twd, they mentioned Daryl? I kinda feel like they’re testing the waters, trying to slowly get us used to the idea of gay-Daryl. And I mean, Tom ships it like crazy, he’s not even trying to hide it and Norman’s also down for it. I mean, they were always thinking about giving Daryl a gay-storyline. That’s nothing we made up, but there was just never the time or the right guy. But now there is. Now there’s Jesus. The ninja-guy with a big heart, who somehow seems to think the same way Daryl does, who had similar experiences in his life, like a crappy childhood, asshole parents. He doesn’t just want to kill people (like we saw last episode), but wants to give them a chance instead, he still believes that they can change. Remember when Daryl was the one who always gave people a chance, who didn’t want Rick to kill everone. Yeah, there we have a Jesus/Daryl parallel. They work so well together, they can fix each other. It’s beautiful and I hope the writers see that too.
