the adrenaline was still pumping but he quickly turned around, his focus on the voice that was talking to him. he had almost forgotten she was there but there was a sense of relief he felt when he had managed to calm himself.

he knew batman was right but there was still that ping of guilt he couldn’t seem to shake. sure he saved everyone, but what if it was his fault? he had been warned not to interfere with fisk’s business and he didn’t listen. instead he did the exact opposite and because of it, some people got hurt. thankfully that was just the extent of the human harm.
there was a subtle nod from spider-man as he sat down on the ledge of the building. ❝ yeah, but i can’t get over the idea that it may have been my fault to begin with. ❞ he casted his gaze down at the city below, the police vehicles swarmed, a large crowd gathered below. all there to see the latest damage dealt. ❝ fisk warned me not to step in and i didn’t listen. now look at it. city hall could have been destroyed. and what if i wasn’t quick enough? ❞

❝ oh you know, a little here and a little there. ❞ his hands gestured to the left and then to the right as he spoke. no one had actually asked where he has learned to fight. mostly trial and error, but his abilities gave him a keen instinct on combat so he learned to perfect it over the years. besides, getting your ass handed to you a few times will really make you pick up fighting real quick.

peter jumped down from the lamp post. ❝ yeah. ❞ for the most part, spider-man worked alone. not that teaming up was bad, it’s just sometimes people had creative differences. it was easier for him to do things by himself when he knew he could.

i just witnessed something i wish i hadn’t witnessed. one of my kitten’s was using the litter box and another one came up behind them and stuck their head right under their bum and now.... now i have to give this fucking kitten a bath.
