“Nancy. Gracie Jo. Came with me. ‘posed to be a surprise...” Why don’t they know this?

Will, of course, is the first to understand what he’s trying to explain. “Jonathan, it’s okay. No one was with you,” he says, moving to Jonathan’s side.

Below is all the information about the upcoming fanfic event, including prompts!

For our Fanfic Event will be giving away 2 Jancy packages full of Jancy goodness (plus your favorite candy/snack!). One winner will be the person who gets the most notes on one of their submissions for the event. The other one will be randomly drawn from those who participate.

Obviously, we will be mailing these out to the winners so if this is not something you are comfortable with, you can still participate in the giveaway by choosing to receive an alternate gift. For the alternative gift, you can choose either the writer badge or one month of ad-free browsing.

Philia is characterized by intimacy, knowing, and soul-to-soul bonds. It’s encouraging, kind, and authentic; the stuff from which great friendship is made, regardless of whether it's with a platonic best friend or a romantic partner. This love is also based in good will, or wanting what’s best for the other person. Philia is a connection akin to that of soulmates; it’s one part destiny, another part choice.

Day Two (March 22nd)

Erotoropia or ludus: playful, flirtatious love

According to Constantine, ludus is of Latin origin and is actually known as erototropia in Greek. “Erototropia is a child-like love that is sometimes seen in the beginning stages of romantic relationships,” she says, adding that it’s defined by playfulness.

Pragma: committed, companionate love

Pragma is a love built on commitment, understanding, and long-term interests, like building a family. Over time, eros can turn into pragma as a couple grows to honor, respect, and cherish each other, accepting of differences and learning to compromise.

Pragma is everlasting love rooted in romantic feelings and companionship. Pragma, in love terms, is a more values-based system one uses to find what we call ‘compatibility.’

Eros is passion, lust, pleasure. It’s an appreciation for one’s physical being or beauty, and is driven by attraction and sexual longing. It describes desire and is most similar to what we think of as romantic, passionate love between life partners. At least in the earlier stages of courtship, when everything is wildly hot and you can’t get enough of each other, that is.

With the Fanart Event wrapping up (thanks again, everyone who participated!), it’s time to start looking forward toward the We Love Jancy Fanfic Event!

This event will run March 21st thru 24th and will follow the same prompts as the Fanart Event:

But these prompts are just a suggestion…you can write anything your heart desires as long as it’s Jancy centric. This means if you write them in a throuple or a polycule, Jancy needs to be a central relationship and a major focus. If you are looking to focus on non-Jancy ships such Stonathan, Stancy, Steddie or Ronance, there are other events for that so please just DON’T.

(Sorry, we’ve read too many of these where Jancy’s relationship is barely mentioned or even acknowledged… please none of that for this event.)

Submissions for this event can be:

- Anything from a Drabble (100 words) to a multiple chapter fic.

- Canon or AU, it’s up to you!

- Any rating, just please note rating in your post.

*Again, the main requirement is that it’s Jancy-centric*
