"Oh? So you came for something a bit more personal, hm?~"
"Huh?!"
"If I were a weapon…? Hm… if I could choose… I’d probably be something like nunchucks. Really useful for the skilled people, and I can’t be misused as easily that way."
"What'aya mean by misused?"
"I’ll bet." Link muttered under his breath as he trailed after the other. “It’s like one of the dungeons I explore back at home." He couldn’t help but wonder of they had traps and treasures lying around this place as well. “You must have a lot of students here to require this large of a building."Â
"I guess you could say that," he shrugged. In reality, though, the size of this place was probably due to the fact that the academy spoiled its students with extremely large living quarters. "So, where ya from? That's some get up you got there," Clay asked, gesturing to the boy's outfit.
"No ID, no drinks, that’s how it works around here."
"Oh, uh, I didn't come here for drinks."
He tilted his head some. He had never heard of such a place, neither did he know there was some kind of training for weapons. And he never heard of things called ‘Kishin eggs’. Confused the Exceed raised a brow.  Many questions ran through his head. “I don’t understand. " he said. “How can you ‘train’ a weapon? They are inanimate items, aren’t they?" he asked, while he thought of the sword, which was straped on his back.
"You don't know about demon weapons?" he asked, somewhat shocked but not one to show it in this situation. This was probably the first time he'd encountered someone who didn't know about humans who turned into weapons. It sparked his interest. "Not necessarily," he started, grinning, almost as if he had a secret. "People who have demon weapon blood can turn into a weapon, like the one you got on your back there. Pretty simple. I happen to be one myself."
"I don’t believe so. I already live below the school, so it’d be pointless for me to move to another dorm within the school."
"What do you live down there for?"
"Wait… what if you could?  What would you choose?" she asked out of curiosity. “Like, any weapon that you wanted to be, you could just be it."
Clay looked towards the ceiling in thought. "I've actually heard of weapons that could do that, but they're pretty rare," he admitted to himself. "I don't think I would change it. How about you? If you were a weapon, of course."

"Hmm. We could." She said, though she had to admit food was on her mind. She rested a hand on her hip, tilting her head up.
"Any suggestions?"
"I was thinking that burger joint down the block," Clay started, but soon paused, remembering his audience. "Unless you wanna go somewhere... fancier? More expensive?" he asked, raising a brow.
"That’s the spirit! After all, it’s not like you can change the weapon you are."
"Guess you're right," he chuckled.
"That would be a huge help, thanks." Link sheepishly rubbed at the back of his neck. “This is kind of a huge place to be wondering around in. The best I could do as far as navigation goes is going left whenever I had a chance." Which may have actually just taken him in circles.Â
"This school can be a maze sometimes, people get lost all the time," he admitted, chuckling. "C'mon, the exit's this way." Clay flicked his hand in the direction of the exit, gesturing for Link to follow as he started walking towards it.
WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
Not sure. Don't really care. Anything that was that far back isn't really worth thinking about.

"Well you guys are kinda early. Uhh… could I help you with something? I’ll need some ID’s first."
"Well, erm, I don't really carry my ID with me." Lies.
//I just realized my ask wasn't open omg. I'm sorry if you tried to send me an ask or something!

"Absolutely idea. And I suppose we could… ‘Hang out’ for awhile." She nodded her head with a small smile.
"Cool. I was thinking we could get something to eat ourselves, I'm pretty hungry," he chuckled.
Maybe it was a little difficult to understand, what Exceeds were, so he just said: “You could call it like that." Lily crossed his arms and looked up at the guy, who seemed to stare at him. But he didn’t seem to bother, that the feline could speak. “Care to tell me what that DWMA thing is?" the Exceed asked. He had at least to know what awaited him here.
"It's a school for weapons and meisters. We train to kill kishin eggs. I'm surprised you haven't heard of it." The cat was probably from somewhere far away, he figured. Everybody in America knew about the school, and probably many other countries. Anyone involved in politics had to graduate, so it was pretty well known. And of course, the home of the Lord of Death was also something that wasn't kept secret easily.

"You’re not." She raised her eyebrows, looking at him with a calm look.
"Sure, I’m alone… But even that gets lonely."
"...Huh. I see," Clay responded, unable to relate. "When will Tsugumi and Meme be back. Do you know? We could hang out for a bit, if you're in need of company."
"Oh, it’s fine," she replied politely and had a friendly smile on her face. “Thank you. That means a lot. …Will I ever see your anytime soon?"
"I'm sure you'll see soon enough."
