So hi, hello, this is technically @long-live-the-gobop / @eruanna1875 (second is my main blog), but I decided to make a sideblog for Life Series stuff! May also branch out into VSMP (already a fan!) and Hermitcraft + people's other serieses.

For the most part*, I don't really ship anything except Joel and Lizzie (my brain works weird like that, because it won't accept any MCYT ships that aren't also IRL, does not compute). However, I'm still extremely invested in those relationships and go slightly feral sometimes especially when it comes to themes and parallels and undying loyalty that turns them into unwitting mirrors of each other who said that? Not me lol

In general, I write fanfiction, I make fanart, and (once in a blue moon) I might even make an animatic! Mostly though I just have thoughts about things, haha

May also have a couple of OCs/semi crossovers that would be functionally OCs for most people because you've never heard of it. We'll see. (Do people do OCs for the Life Series? I know they do for VSMP)

Conclusion? Eugene in the Life Series is an absolute MENACE.

Bernard refs (1/?)

(not me realizing I never posted the artfight refs on here 💀)

So here's Bernard/Uncle_Bernard in various different designs throughout the AU! I haven't gotten to the Life Series ones yet, but we'll get there eventually

First drawing = literally just his normal design. If he's not doing some specific thing, this is what he looks like.

Second drawing = B&B world. This is in the world where Bianca first taught him how to play Minecraft. It's supposed to look like Bernard from the Rescuers (because Bianca picked the skin and she's been obsessed with the Rescuers since she was three lol).

Third drawing = Evo SMP. When Bianca was fragmented by the Watchers/broke her hand irl, Bernard had to fill in for her. Thus, although he's still physically himself, his hair and clothes look a little more like Bianca. (She's still there, just watching - she's the little ghost over his shoulder).

Probably gonna post Bianca next!

Hello, friends! I've made a trafficsona / traffic oc character sheet and figured I'd share it here for anyone interested! There's no rules, you can fill things in or leave things out as you please. I imagined the little hearts and hunger points could be filled in as whatever you think your character would average, but again, absolutely everything is up to you. What did the cells look like pre- Skizz and Mumbo death? Since Cleo and Impulse hadn’t always been in separate cells was BigB ever in a regular cell? Looking at the map it doesn’t seem possible

AFTER SEVERAL LONG MONTHS OF PROCRASTINATION AND ALSO COMPLETELY FORGETTING, I SHALL ANSWER YOUR ASK. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND I HOPE YOU’RE STILL INTERESTED IN AN ANSWER!

Stick with me guys, it’s currently 12:40am as I start typing this all out and explaining it.

Cell Diagrams

To start us off, here’s some layout stuff for the cells, which is where the story is primarily taking place at the moment. I believe the diagram speaks for itself on who is where and what is what (pretend that one cell has a slash through it, I’m not crawling out of bed and getting on my iPad to make that change).

It was a little bit of a tight squeeze before powers began manifesting, and the “First Arrival” is only that. Between then and “Before Death,” subjects were moved around frequently to find out who got along best with who. Everyone has shared a cell with everyone at some point while they’ve been here.

Cell Layout

This is the standard layout for the cells. The beds are part of the wall and low to the ground, just barely leaving enough room for a subject to squeeze under it. The mattresses are thin as are the blankets, and that glass goes around all three sides of the cells (unless a cell is against the outer walls).

Facility Levels

Warehouse

This is primarily security and storage. Despite how big it is, it’s mostly empty, acting more like a cover up for the facility’s true works. It’s the only floor above ground level.

Floor 1

This is just where scientists live if they don’t want to rent a place nearby to stay close to their work, and this is also the floor with all of the offices (including Ex’s).

Floor 2

This is the first of two labs, and this lab focuses on data and numbers. All experimentation records go to this part of the facility, and information is documented and studied. This is where Xisuma and Zedaph work.

Floor 3

This level is where experimentation on the subjects happens. Sometimes it comes from data collection, and sometimes it comes from the teams on Floor 3, but this is where subjects’ abilities and limits are tested. This is where Doc works, and it’s also where Cleo and Impulse are being held.

Floor 4

The fourth and final level is where the subjects are held. By keeping them on the bottommost floor, the scientists can buy more time if any of the subjects manage to escape.

Saw the thing about Martyn being able to hear heartbeats and I just came up with the most filthily angstiest idea EVER. So, obviously Mumbo and Skizz died, and idk/remember if you’ve said who dies first so anyways, I’ll js pretend it was Skizz.

Martyn and Ren were talking about something together in their cell, for the first time in a while the two had cheered up a bit, due to reduce of testing, instead testing seemed to be longer, and no one had seemed overly upset when coming back from experimenting, so everything was feeling pretty good. Maybe they could even escape soon, they were in the middle of a full conversation, Martyn yapping about something, And then he heard it - or rather, he DIDN’T hear it. A heartbeat had stopped, sure this happened a lot, there were pauses and quickening, but it always frightened him. Ren had looked at him questioningly, frowning at the pause in conversation. Martyn sat there for a few moments. Why hadn’t it started back up? It usually starts back up again by now. What was happening? After a minute of full panic and Ren trying to calm him down, he finally had a panic attack, sobbing. He was asleep when the person went in for experimenting. Who was it? He pursed his lips and concentrated as best as he could, eye closed, searching for the familiar heart beats. He found himself gripping his gown tightly as he recognised each heartbeat. Except one. Except Skizz’s.

Skizz. He was dead.

I know you have a lot of people doing asks, but I can just imagine Skizz sitting by Imp, and whenever Imp needs comforting, he just feels slightly calmer when Skizz is around

And when Imp is being experimented on, Skizz is yelling at the scientists and trying to push them, and even though he knows nothing will come of it, he still tries. Mumbo (and probably Gem and Grian) try to tell him it's useless, but Skizz ignores them and continues.

I’ve had quite a few thoughts about him, actually. What I can share with you guys is that Skizz was by far the bravest and most optimistic of the bunch. Throughout all the tests and abuse he endured, he never let the scientists see that they got to him. He was strong, and resilient, and they hated him for it. And he loved that they hated him.

Skizz was strong up until the very end.

Hi hello I'm here to tell you I am physically vibrating over Project X and also Skizz specifically, I'm gonna freaking IMPLODE 🫠

Also, juuuuust out of curiosity, does the facility have like a cleaning crew? Whether for just general cleanliness or for after testing or whatever? Would they have to use special suits or gear for safety purposes? Would they ever go into the cells to clean them? No reason at all, just curious... (<< can be trusted/has no ulterior motives)

Yes! I never mention them in the story, but there’s a cleanup crew working at the facility. They typically come in to make sure the cells are tidy while subjects are off either being tested on or in the showers, and no special equipment is needed since none of the characters are hazardous (in a toxic way) to be around.

Cleaning BigB’s cell is a losing game though. He just re-covers it in vines the moment no one’s watching him.

EDIT: Something I forgot to mention!! The cleanup crew was also in charge of discarding of Mumbo and Skizz’s remains! (Who are buried just outside of the facility)

I really love Pyro's design in this AU, and the image of him being entangled with his past self, neither one able to break free even though it's killing them both, just took hold of me

Top row was the beginnings of an animation that I wanted to do (but realistically would not have had time to finish lol) The bird is a canary BTW

Second row is just Skizz whump (and. possibly worse.)

Bottom left is with my guy Bernard! I really wanted to play around and see how he'd do in the AU, so I put him on the cleaning crew for the facility!

Bernard wasn't done tidying the cell by the time the guards came back, so the guards just shut him in with 016 until 018 was done with testing. Since it was so bright for her, he let Lizzie wear his hat for shade. Now he's telling a story to pass to time while he cleans.

Bernard is cleaning the glass of the cells (like the window washer he is lol). Behind the glass, Skizz makes a face and spooks him, then he cracks up.

...I believe the AU creator said something about the cleaning crew being the ones to bury Skizz and later Mumbo?

Middle right is from the fic (Imp and Skizz, gosh I'm gonna cry...)

Bottom right is... probably not canon accurate, but it's just. Ghost Dapper Duo watching the zombie fight in Chapter 5. While their bodies are running around biting people. I just thought it was funny.
