Hi, I can’t come off anonymous but I just wanted to let you know that you are a very very great friend. Back in 2013 I have 2 guy friends that (weren’t trans) but going through abusive things with their families because of multiple reasons. 1 lived two states down from me and the other lived in Norway. Hey, so I read a reply you wrote and you said you will probably stay in another state... I'm not too sure about how tight the security in India is, but I think it would be best for you guys to leave the country as soon as possible, if there are another flight which leave in the same day. His parents would probably start the search with the cops immediately once they notice he's gone, so staying in another state might have a higher possibility of being found. What do you think?

Yeah and that is our plan. There are just some things we need to sort out before coming to the states. We cant leave india the same day for lots of reasons, his father is in poor health and we want to watch that, he needs a visa, they could go to the airport and catch us and well, we cant get a ticket cause we dont know our time schedule. Our plan is to leave the country asap, however we need to make sure his father is ok after him going / get a visa. So heading to the next state is the safest option for a short term stay. Thats for the input! Thats always really good to think about! I appreciate your concern and care alot.

Have you considered purchasing a colored contact lens that you can wear so that your eyes look even slightly different? If you have please ignore t was just an idea, like the subtle hazel or brown circle lens just so your & your friends eyes are not your usual identifiable color. Sending you good luck

Yeah thats a great idea! and I have considered it, I have a pair of colored contact lens, but they dont make my eyes too too different? Ive got brownish-greenish-goldish eyes? but even tho they are usually lighter the contacts I own dont really show up unless under direct light. Its still something im thinking about for an extra precaution, but im not 100 % sure yet.Thank you so much for the ask tho! Its a great suggestion!  ❤️

What are you going to do with the cash for your friend? Help him runaway? I just want to know your plan before I donate

oh course! Thats a great question and yes we are planning to run away. The money is going to be used for things like, disguises to get us out of his home town, a cab to drive us to the next state over, money to get a hotel or room so we have someplace to stay, money for plane tickets, money to bribe off any cops his family send after us and of course money for food and water throughout the trip as well. My mom can pay a certain amount, we are not 100% dependable on the donations we get. But having financial security will either make or break a runaway. so every penny counts in keeping us safe. Thank you so much for the question! And of course donating isnt the only way to help! If you want to help, but cant donate or dont feel comfortable doing so, spreading the word about this and sharing the post, asking others to donate even 50 cents or a dollar would be more than enough! Giving us resources or telling us tips or just talking through my plan for the runaway day. All of that is so beneficial! Thank you again for the wonderful ask!

I saw your post and if you're planning to run away you need to look at LGBT+ groups in the area. There only seems to be 1 major 1 in Coimbatore which is Orinam but Bangalore has a lot, with some like Queer Campus being specially geared towards young people. There's also Swabhava, Sangama, Jeeva, and GoodAsYou which all seem to be for people of all genders and sexualities. It might be worth giving them a call and trying to get some contacts and support in the community, don't go at it alone <3

Yes thank you so much! This is something I have been looking into for a while now and alot of people have been helping me to do. So far I haven’t heard back from any  LGBT+ groups but im hoping once in india ill be able to have correspondence easier. Thank you so much for the list!
